This Convection Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Be careful on this item!
List price for the item might be OK but you have shipping charges and this is a heavy item. Instructions are useless,no 800 to call,no address,no E-Mail for
mfg or supplier. I had to go to Amazon search for the cook book & instruction book that should have come with the unit, another expense.
The unit: All parts are very heavy and glass, not easy for older people like me to handle. It also gets hot, which is no surprise,it is an oven. I noticed it
has a hum sound when warming up which does not bother me. Cleaning may be a big,big problem if you want to lift it into the sink to clean because of weight,
be careful not to drop, being wet makes it even harder to handle. It heats up fast and will be hot,hot be careful again when heating. Advantages would be you can see what you are cooking and will not heat up your kitchen like your oven. You do need some trial and error to cook properly with this unit.
Do not bother to contact the supplier you will not receive a...

2. Better than other Savoureux Pro Line products
This is probably the only item in Heartland America's Savoureux Pro Line that is worth having in your house. It does cook as advertised, but don't rely too heavily on the accuracy of the thermostat and timer. The times and temperatures listed in the owners manual will either leave your meat raw or overcooked. I have recorded my own time & temperature settings for various items so I'm happy with the results, but you need to experiment to get it right. The only other things to be aware of are the lid and the bowl. The lid is the heating unit and if you remove it from the bowl and are not careful where you place it, you could ruin a nice countertop and the bowl is really heavy and awkward for a smaller person to handle.

Proline convection oven
I love it!!! This one is better than the older ones. It browns all over without having to turn meat over. I haven't had to turn my oven on in months. Uses little energy and my electric bills prove it! Easy to clean too.

Cadco POV-013 Commercial Half Size Convection Oven

Buy Cadco POV-013 Commercial Half Size Convection Oven
==================================================================

Half Size Commercial Convection Oven
  • Accommodates up to 3 half size sheet pans (1 commercial sheet pan included)
  • Advanced airflow design with patented baffle
  • Heat settings from 175 - 500 degree F and 60 minute timer
  • Heavy duty stainless construction
  • Cool-touch safety door is removable for easy cleaning

This Convection Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. No on/off switch - fan runs until spring timer unwinds by itself
No switch to turn spring-loaded timer off - cannot be freely turned. Must wait for timer to "wind out" its time, before fan will stop. Thermostat can be off but fan will still run.

It's not like I don't do the research. I called Cadco home office back east and a "technician" told me you can shut off the timer any time you want. He lied (or made a mistake.)

These are special order items in bricks and mortar equipment stores in my area. They have them in catalogs, but nobody stocks one to look at. If you order one, and don't like it, it is not returnable. You are stuck with it. - Thank you, Amazon. I almost did that.

An Italian company makes it, but does not say anything about design, manufacture or assembly country of origin, not of the whole item, or any part.

It is noisy, but I am not familiar with other countertop convection ovens. Maybe they are all that way (or worse.)

The shelf gratings inside tilt herrendously when slid out...

2. Great Counter Top Oven
Have had this oven for about 1 year - used 5 nights a week in my kitchen to prepare appetizers with a baked entree or two thrown in at times when busy.
Operates perfectly. Cooks fast. Cleans easily.
Very pleased.
We often prepare pans of cupcakes and cookies - they come out perfectly. Better that my larger ovens.

Superb oven, quality all around!!
After seeing that Costco uses Cadco ovens at their food sample stations, we retired our 'premium' Breville toaster oven and upgraded to this unit. We bake a lot, so quality, durability and safety matter to us. Compared to the premium toaster ovens, the Cadco has many benefits that make it worth its higher price:

(1) It has a good layer of insulation around the oven cavity, and double glass on the door. As a result the exterior doesn't get dangerously hot. This is a major plus for safety.

(2) The insulation helps the Cadco retain heat better, so it uses significantly less electricity. In our area electricity is very expensive, so this is a major advantage.

(3) The interior of the unit is smooth and lined with stainless steel. It's easy to clean, and heating elements are hidden so grease and oil from foods can't fall on them.

(4) The Cadco has a powerful convection fan, so the oven cavity is at a uniform temperature. This means one can fill up...

Very nice pizza oven. Bakes evenly and temperature controlled with a timer. Very well designed. Looks very professional. Stainless steel.

2. It Works Well, But Smelly and Smokey
It works pretty well, but there is lots of stinky smell during the first several uses. There is also lots of smoke even just cooking a simple pizza while there is no oil or any substance being burned. On the other hand, it cooks pizza very well and it fits the Papa Murphy family-size pizza perfectly.

It was a gift. He loved it!!
So much better than his old pizza oven. Great for many things besides pizza. He uses it for chicken nuggets a lot.

This Convection Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. AWESOME!
Hats off to Oster on this one.....we love this oven! I was sent on a mission when my very old Wel-Bilt oven went on the fritz. It had lasted so long that I would have bought another, but I found out they are no longer made. I spent countless hours and days researching a replacement, only to find out that the maunfacturers apparently haven't been able to perfect their designs. It seems they all have their pros and cons. Eventually my search narrowed down to either this oven or the Hamilton Beach Countertop Oven with Convection & Rotisserie Model # 31103. Obviously I chose the Oster, and I have NO REGRETS. It is perfect for my use.

I found that I am no longer using my regular kitchen oven (excluding the stovetop), and relying solely on my toaster oven. I was looking for something bigger than what I had, but not too large. I would consider this a medium sized oven. My old oven would fit a cornish hen but not a 5 lb chicken, and this Oster oven is able to handle a 5...

2. Very inaccurate temperature
I use my toaster oven mostly for baking, so the first thing I did was put in a known accurate oven thermometer and turn the oven on convection bake. Set at 400 degrees it heated up to nearly 550 degrees. I could feel heat radiating from several feet away. After 45 minutes or so it cooled down to just over 400, but I like to use the toaster oven for small items because it should reach temperature quickly and save electricity. This thing will not do that.

It emits a gentle whir while it's running that might annoy some people. But the 150 degree over temp annoyed me a lot more!

Wonderful Convection Feature
At 1300 watts and approximately .6 cubic feet, we would class this as a medium-sized toaster oven. The interior is about 11 3/4 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches deep by 8-inches high, which fits up to a 9 1/2-inch square pan comfortably. There is a stay-cool handle, a nifty slide-out crumb tray, and the rack glides smoothly on the well-positioned indented tracks. Its toasting speed rivals that of a standard pop-up toaster, browning a large sandwich roll in merely three minutes. "Toast" in addition to "Pizza" and "Convection Bake" employ both top and bottom heating elements. The heat does not fluctuate much in toast mode. If this is too fast for you, you may try reducing the temperature out of the marked "Toast" range, or use the pizza feature. Be sure to preheat first, according to the user's manual. Our all-time favorite multi-function toaster, the original dinky diney Toast-R-Oven (until we had to do so much baking), was about this quick, but had a special automatic short-duration timer...

  • Enjoy quick and effortless cleanup with the non-stick interior

This Convection Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Quiet is nice, but all is not well
One of the concerns we had was whether we were going to get the analog version as one of the reviewers mentioned rather than the digital one that was mentioned in the printed info and model number. I used the online chat to verify and was told the digital would be shipped. I suggested they change their photo. We did in fact get the digital version.

The convection oven we replaced was very loud compared to this, so that's been a nice advantage. One of the things we don't like is that you can only set the timer in 5 min. increments. It looks nice, but I ordered it thinking it was going to be as big as the one we had which took one of those long lasagna pans. What I didn't account for is that in the one we had, the dials were above. This one they are on the side so that took up part of the interior space also. Just wanted to mention this in case somebody else is measuring and not accounting for that as I did. Not a big deal, we purchased some smaller baking...

2. DIGITAL???!
I love this oven and I don't want to be a stickler for details but I think that Amazon may be a bit confused with the description and especially the price. The oven shown IS NOT the digital version of this fine product, it is indeed the older, discontinued, analog model.

Works wonderfully
It arrived timely and in perfect condition. There is a smell that was removed by turn it to 450 degrees and allowing it to run for 45 minutes. really good product

This Convection Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. My husband uses this EVERY day
My husband is the cook at our house, and he uses this every day for one meal or another. It cooks everything from Steak to potatos and greenbeans in no time. He just grabs the food from the freezer, layers it around the NuWave, and starts it up. 20 min later dinner is ready. You can cook the main dish on one level and the veggies on another so you have one "pot" to clean up after dinner. It comes apart easily for cleaning and has a beep to alert you that your food is ready that is loud enough to be heard on the next floor. You should also know that it is easy to get replacement parts for the body if you use it enough to wear them out.

We are getting my mother one for Christmas...

2. It suits my needs BUT . . .
I bought this product primarily to cook foods that have been frozen. So far all the items that I've cooked have come out tasting good and very juicy BUT they have definitely taken LONGER to cook than what is stated in the reference guide. The actual cooking times are better represented in the accompanying Nuwave recipe book. I'm still happy with my purchase though since, as formerly stated, the food comes out tasting good especially steaks which I love. Also, cooking in the Nuwave oven allows me to avoid heating up a much larger oven which saves energy and it's easier to clean. Again, just be forewarned that the cooking time (for me) was longer than stated. Bon Appetit!

Not Bad
The oven does cook longer than the suggested sheet says but the food is juicy. Works great on frozen foods I love it for cooking frozen fish. My main complaint is NuWave customer service I hope you do not have to call them they are short with you and do not take care of the problem. I will never purchase anything from them again.
