Noisy little freezer. Found one mounting bolt for the compressor missing, one not tighned down. Manual incorrect with settings of temps. This freezer runs almost constantly. Temp inside rises quickly when power is off. I question the amount of insulation used.

My Thai wife used to make fun of me because I made rice with a covered pan. For a couple of years she humored me, then told me she wanted me to get a rice cooker. After looking around some, I chose this one, and I have to give it to her, she was absolutely right. :) It is effortless to make perfect rice every time, once you learn the secret. The secret is to choose the right setting on the machine, and to use less water than you are probably used to. For Thai Jasmine rice, we use 1 measurement of rice to 1.5 measurements of water and use the white setting. 2. Very Good Rice Cooker
I bought this a couple months ago for use in my apartment and I'm very pleased with the purchase. It does a great job of cooking brown rice as well as white rice which is why I bought it. It keeps the rice warm for a very long time without drying it out too. The timer feature works great too, I just set it early in the day and my rice is always done at the exact minute I want.

I have absolutely no complaints with this purchase and would definitely buy it again if I had to.

Having owned 1 rice cooker before this one I was tempted to replace my old one with a similar one that cost about $20. It lasted me 22 years and was still going strong when someone in my household ran cold water on the hot glass lid. Quite a mess by the way. I assumed all rice cookers burned on the bottom before I can across the $50-$100-$200-$400 rice cookers. I had sticker shock for about week before I finally took the plunge and bought the Zojirushi WAC10 5 1/2 cup. Let me back up. I actually bought a 10 cup Aroma as a replacement. I liked it and the $40 price. The problem was everything I read said you had to cook at least 2 cups. It's just my wife and I and despite what I read all over the place the two of us cannot eat 2 cups of uncooked rice. I bought this Coke machine from Amazon, and I had some reservations about buying it from the other review posted. I love this! I purchased this retro coke frig on Amazon.com and got it within the week. UPS wasn't gentle with it, so it left a tiny bump near the bottom but that was something that I was okay with and I will tell you why. The machine is amazing! Yes, it makes a small amount of noise when it is cooling but when the drinks are at the ice cold temp they need to be, the unit stops chilling until the temp drops again. Then it goes back on. 2. Better than other Savoureux Pro Line products
This is probably the only item in Heartland America's Savoureux Pro Line that is worth having in your house. It does cook as advertised, but don't rely too heavily on the accuracy of the thermostat and timer. The times and temperatures listed in the owners manual will either leave your meat raw or overcooked. I have recorded my own time & temperature settings for various items so I'm happy with the results, but you need to experiment to get it right. The only other things to be aware of are the lid and the bowl. The lid is the heating unit and if you remove it from the bowl and are not careful where you place it, you could ruin a nice countertop and the bowl is really heavy and awkward for a smaller person to handle.

I love my Waring Commercial chopper. This is truly a commercial machine. You can tell by how heavy it is and how smoothly it runs. I use mine often to make spreads, chop nuts and veggies, grind flax seeds, puree smooth sauces etc. The size is a perfect complement to the 2.5 quart Waring Commercial food processor I own. This machine is useful for a variety of tasks and is built to commercial standards. By the feel of my machine it seems it will last a lifetime in my home kitchen. I love it so much I purchased an extra set of work bowls just in case I scratched one up. You will love this little heavy duty machine. In the extensive use I have given mine, I can tell it is very powerful. This machine is worth every penny you will pay for it over the price of the cheaply made choppers designed for "home" use (just junk). It also looks great on my counter. Purchased in January 2013. Operating manual includes a warning that the "chopper is not designed to process meats". This is not disclosed on the product description.
The only meat I need to chop is about 6 thin slices of mortadella (about 2 ozs) to flavor my meatballs, for which I buy already ground beef, therefore the machine load by the meat is extremely light. Indeed, until recently I have been using for that purpose and without any problem a competitive machine, the Ultimate Chopper, which is home-use product at half the price.
I called Waring Customer Service trying to understand the reason for the "no meat processing" restriction. The answer was that the machine "is not strong enough"!

Perfect all SS Compact 6 Cup Rice Cooker
I researched many rice cookers over a period of several months trying to replace a 15-yr old inexpensive, but reliable plastic cooker/steamer that had been a gift. This time, I wanted to avoid both plastics & non-stick materials. I also didn't need or want to store a very large cooker since, it's just the two of us @ home now. It's not hard to fill up the pot and then dump it into a pour over coffee maker yet somehow that process and the drips regularly causes me to start my day off in a bad mood. Enter the Brew Express.

After many years of buying the conventional coffee machines which have only served me for 2-3 years at best, I decided to go for a more expensive machine. Admittedly, I have only made one pot in it so far, but it is quite possibly the best coffee that I have ever brewed. I really like the fact that I no longer have to fill the reservoir with water for every pot. The plumbing was pretty easy (full disclosure, I am a plumber) but I think with a few simple hand tools and a little bit of ambition anyone could accomplish the installation of this machine. I had the original Brew express built into my Kitchen during a remodel several years ago. It finally got tired and needed replacement after years of faithful service. I actually thought this one was pretty much the same and would go into the same built in wall fixture but this BEC-110BS is actually meant to sit on the counter. I removed the old wall fixture and just shoved this into the wall like a built in and it looks good and work perfectly. I wanted to point out a few discrepancies. The above product description reads the same as the MG800 grinder with regards to this statement: "Covered by a five-year warranty, the 450-watt motor works effortlessly and operates with a simple on/off/reverse switch". This seems to be in conflict with this part of the above Product Features: "Heavy-duty 1000 peak watts motor "
The outside of the box states that it has a 1000 peak (input) watts, motor. However the sticker on the bottom of the unit says 350 watts. So I am not sure exactly how powerful this unit is but it *looks* like it means business. :)
I chose this grinder over the MG800 due to the fact it was a newer updated version with a more powerful motor and less expensive.

2. Only body is stainless, not hopper.
The unit grinds very well and comes apart easily for cleaning. Just be aware that all the parts that must be cleaned after use (the hopper and screw) are aluminum, not stainless steel, and cannot be put through the dishwasher. The cutter itself is stainless steel, but all other parts must be hand washed in soapy water only. If you put the parts through the dish washer then a black tarnish coats the parts and unless it is completely removed it will contaminate the meat. It is not like an aluminum fry pan but must be a soft grade of aluminum and the tarnish is powdery and very hard to remove. I wish these parts were stainless and don't know why they aren't .. must be a cost issue, but I would pay extra for the convenience of using a dishwasher.

Good Quality, Watch Lubrication
I am a relative sausage-making novice, having only made sausage on an old school cast iron contraption and the add on for the kitchen aid mixer. I just made my first batch and this appears to be the best of both. It is a high quality workhorse...easily grinding through 10 lbs of meat without all the elbow grease. Speaking of grease, even though I carefully cleaned all the part before the first use, my first batch became "infected" with some kind of lubricant/graphite that was inside the base of the machine. I had pulled the main screw through some of the meat when changing the grind size and it pulled the grease into the meat which I didn't notice until it was too late. I think I can avoid this in the future and am excited by my new toy, but I think this must be some kind of design flaw.

2. Wonderful popcorn maker for large family
We just love this machine! We buy large containers of Orville Redenbacher popcorn from Costco (but I would think any will do) and use grapeseed oil and our own salt and it makes perfect popcorn! We were concerned about what was in the premade bags, so we came up with a viable substitute. We pour in approximatly 1/6 cup of grapeseed oil, then add 1/2 cup popcorn with about 1/8th teaspoon of salt. We can make one batch after another this way, just waiting for the popper to finish and start another batch. The light and warmer keep the popcorn warm for a long time. This is great for movie and popcorn lovers like us. clean-up is a bit involved, but with a vacuum handy it helps (especially in this family with what happens to the floor when we eat popcorn!) You simply wipe out the popper with a clean cloth, and wipe out the rest with a damp cloth followed by a dry one. It has a tray in the bottom to catch unpopped kernals. Hope this helps and enjoy!

The craftsmanship and finish on the stainless Dualit kettle are superior to all others. Unfortunately, the kettle has two major flaws, and the company has an even bigger flaw.

Kettle flaw #1: The cordless base is thin plastic and warps after several months of once-a-day use.

Kettle flaw #2: It's not a matter of 'if', but 'when' it will leak due to cracked plastic windows in the side of the kettle. The plastic windows are pressed into the side openings, which puts the plastic under stress. Repeated use of the kettle causes fine cracks in the plastic where the stresses are concentrated. I guarantee your kettle will leak from these fine stress/heat cracks after approximately 1 year of use. If you have any doubt, google (or any other search) for Dualit, leak, cracked plastic.

Company flaw: horrible warranty and they won't stand behind their product. I had to pay for a replacement cordless base when mine warped after a few months. This was annoying but...

2. Terrific kettle
Great kettle. Our ancient electric kettle bit the dust. We were looking for a replacement that was as well-made and long-lasting. This is perfect. It fills thru the top which has a knob designed so it won't burn your fingers. The handle is similarly well designed. It pours without spilling even when you are in a hurry. The filling window is easily seen and well marked. The on-button is bright. The lever to start it is a simple push bar which shuts off automatically after the water is at a rolling boil. What's not to like? I even have gotten used to the modernistic bullet shape after decades of kettles. Also, it doesn't leak. Sometimes there is condensation between the bottom of the pot and the pad the pot sits on. Its not a leak. I love it and am so happy they are sold in this country.

I've had this kettle for 11 years now. I've never had it leak or any other issues with this kettle. I am replacing it as some rust has developed. I use this kettle every day, 2-3 times a day without issue. I am buying it again since I've had such a great experience.

But the problem with my unit, and after much internet research, I believe others are having the same problem as well, but just haven't disassembled and diagnosed the problem. I have done exactly that, and here is what I have found.

There is a small black seal under the blades, not the large seal which seals the cutter assembly to the glass jar. Here is what I believe is occurring: The liquid from the ingredients, which are blended, eventually leak under this black seal (which is underneath the 3 blades inside the jar), and into a bearing which is part of the blade assembly. This bearing should be a high quality food quality sealed bearing, but this particular bearing is not either, a)high quality,...

It's just okay...because...I received it damaged, & contacted Amazon, I was told if I kept it, I would be refunded 50%. I have not received the refund, I have sent contact info about this several times with no response to me. I am not a happy customer of Amazon about this and I would appreciate hearing from someone soon. I am keeping the machine, it's dented on the front & looks ugly, but it's too much hassle to pack something that large up & mail back, plus the time & expense. Someone needs to help me!!!!

2. Good popcorn, easy to clean.
I looked at a number of poppers before I chose a different one. However, Amazon wasn't able to get that one shipped, so working with their customer service, I settled on this one. My 8 & 10 year old children helped me put it together. The instructions were disappointing, and not all the pieces lined up properly, but the finished product was secure and looked good.

We started with the Great Northern popcorn packs, and it make "good" popcorn. We experimented with some of our own blends of oil and seasonings, and we made "great" popcorn. The kettle gets messy and requires cleaning every couple of batches. The kettle lid seems to be an older design, where the lid is not attached to the kettle and slides up to the top where a magnet holds it in place. I would have preferred the lids that are attached to the kettle with a hinge. I have had to use some "kettle cleaner" for burned spots, but it does the job quickly. 1. This is everything I expected, and more!
This review is going to fly in the face of everyone who said in their reviews, "I wanted a Kitchenaid" or "It's not a Kitchenaid"... One thing is for certain, it's not a $300 Kitchenaid.

Here's what I have discovered so far. I just received this and used it already and will modify this review later if I see it necessary.

1. It's beautiful. It doesn't take up a full acre of counter space. I plan to keep mine on the counter as soon as I whip up a cover for it.

2. It's heavy! The sheer weight of it tells me that this machine is not messing around!

3. SUCTION CUPS!!! That's right, I said suction cups. There are four suction cups on the bottom that suck right onto the counter. Because of that, there's not even a hint of a wiggle when it's working.

4. It's sounds great! It's not whisper soft, no... but it doesn't sound like a helicopter taking off in my kitchen, either. It has that "I'm not a pansy piece of crap" appliance sound. It...

2. So far so good. Lots of power, great price.
It was two weeks before Christmas and all through the house there was a horrible wailing. From our old stand mixer there arose such a clatter that we surely knew what was the matter.... Looking around for a replacement, we really didn't want to spend a lot on a mixer just before Christmas. The Westinghouse SA61950 has almost no on-line reviews yet, but it looked good and seemed like it might be up to our use which includes making bread at least weekly.

So far so good, plenty of power to finish up kneading the bread without hand work. The bread hook is a great design and easy to get on and off. The mixer has what they call "Planetary mixing action" which means that the beater moves around in the bowl to get to all sides. This a good thing, I can't imagine why anyone would make a stand mixer and not have either the mixer head or the bowl move.

The box does have a big disclaimer "for home use only" so it does suggest that they at least don't want to warranty the...

Better for me than a KitchenAid!
I have always wanted a KitchenAid Mixer. I have also always wanted to learn to bake from scratch. So I decided I was going to get into Cupcakes. But I needed a stand mixer. My little Procter Silex 125-watt Hand Mixer just wasn't gonna do the trick. As I started to research KitchenAid mixers and looking at my budget, I finally came to realization that since I'm new to the baking adventure and since I was unsure how long this "phase" could last, it wasn't in my best interest to plunk down $350 on a KitchenAid mixer that may or may not drip oil into my batter (which in research was found to be a VERY common issue for KitchenAid). 1. It does what I want.
I bought it to knead my bread, since my wrists are failing. It does a good job of that, and I'm happy. I will use it to bake when I am not making sandwich bread, but I prefer the normal loaf for that.

2. The bread does not rise
I have tried this machine over and over with my own ingredients and packaged bread mixes. I have followed the directions very carefully and each time the bread only rises about 3/4 of the way up the pan. I called tech services who were useless. I stuck it on a shelf and forgot about it. I tried it again yesterday and it did the same thing. I assume the temperature is off, but now it's too late for a return. It was < $50 so I'm not hysterical, but I would really like a machine that works. Now I'm afraid to try another one.

Update 8/3/2013 After I posted the original review I was contacted by a B&D rep. He was very nice and immediately sent me a replacement. The new one works great and I'm very happy.

The bread machine is good and easy to use. The instruction booklet could have been better though, it is a little vague. There are many more recipes that can be found online at least, but it would be nice if the booklet included more recipes and information. This oven gets a little hotter towards the back. Heats up fast. I bought it to replace a microwave, but it isn't that great for reheating or I haven't figured it out yet. I over cooked the bottoms of the first batch of biscuits I tried. I messed up and used the bottom rack. I haven't used the bottom rack since, just the top rack. I imagine the bottom rack will be great for pizza. The outside gets hot so plan for that. Also you have to pick the degree of heat you want for toast or it won't turn on. I think it's a great oven.

1. awesome and durable
I've had this rice cooker for 9 years now and have used it at least weekly for that long. I also will leave it on for days with the rice warming. It's durable, dependable. I have also cooked other things in it- leave wild rice in for at least 30 mins after the warming light is on- also have cooked wheatberries and quinoa without any problems. Very easy. Gets a little gummy with the steam drain, but that happens on all of them. Very easy to clean. After 9 years, the inside pot is a little scratched, but rice doesn't stick- I have to say on occasion I used metal utensils and this is where the scratches came from.

I also like that it has 1 button only. You don't have to keep on pulling out a user manual or worry about an lcd screen.

The size is good too- for maybe up to 4-6 people.

2. Worth The Price; Foolproof Simplicity
I never thought I would use a rice cooker that is actually worth a hundred dollars. We had the standard cheapy Aroma aluminum popup cooker before, which we were always pleased with. We got used to the bottom being covered with stuck rice. After using this cooker we could not believe or understand the increased performance. It does not look that much more complex than the less expensive units, but it makes perfect rice every time, from top to the bottom of the pot. And not just average white rice. We cook every type and color of rice, as well as packaged rice dishes, and everything comes out great. Our usual is brown jasmine or basmati rice straight. Or sometimes we throw in some Thai black sticky rice, red Thai rice, or stretch the more expensive jasmine and basmati with plain brown Walmart rice. Makes no difference, the cooker knows what to do. We even mix brown and white, which normally have different cooking times. But the mixture comes out great in this rice cooker...

This Semi-Automatic Espresso Machines give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Excellent product, care and feeding needed
I have owned this for about 9 months and gotten nearly 1000 uses out of it (it counts for you). It can equal most coffeehouse product you are likely to find, but as others point out, it is far short of what an enthusiast can create from more traditional equipment. You may also find the crema coffee settings to be something of an acquired taste (but you can make an Americano in just one more step, which is always great).

Also, we went through a brief episode in which it would refuse to brew anything (as if it didn't have the power to punch the water through the puck of coffee). I remedied this with a descaling cycle as well as wiping out the parts above the removable tray thoroughly. (I use filtered water in the machine, but the descaling seems to be a more serious cleaning than the normal automatic cleaning.)

Given this, I would recommend keeping large stock of cleaning supplies and at least doing the normal cleaning every couple of weeks, rather than awaiting...

2. 4+ years of great service
This machine is excellent. Produces above average espresso on every shot. Foams milk well too.

I was an early buyer of this machine, and 8,513 shots later (yes it counts them), I know it is an excellent value.

I also would comment that the customer service is excellent. Sent in the machine once, and for $100.00 received a complete overhaul. (Sent in for a pump leak after a house move.) Came back like new, on time, and they paid for the return shipping. Can't ask for much more.

I will buy another super auto, from Jura/Capresso, when the time comes for a new machine. It might be many years from now...

Amazon price deceptive
Saw a demo of this at a local Sur la Table and very impressed. The coffee it makes is outstanding. I plan to buy one later this year.

Amazon is being deceptive about price. They state list price is $2400, and they're selling it for $1798.95, at a savings of $601.05. NOT! Look at the Jura-Capresso website. The list for the Impressa F9 is $1799. That brings Amazon's big discount down to a whole $0.05. The higher end Impressa S9 is $2399 (and Amazon claims it is $3200). Do your research. Don't trust Amazon's claims for MSRP.

I bought this machine from another high end housewares store when they were on sale recently. I sold my Delonghi super auto as I was so sick of all the tinkering and cleaning. This machine is perfect for my needs.
I want to turn it on and be able to pull great shots with little effort. Yes, I know some people would say this is not the true espresso way...but in the AM when I need a great latte or doppio this machine does the trick. The heat up time is under 30 seconds, the espresso varieties are delicious and I can always get the exact same shot. I love that the dials on the front of this machine allow we to adjust quickly the amount of water passed through the capsule. Sometimes I add a little more water with the capsule in place so I can get a little more from the capsule. I will say that pulling a lungo capsule on the longest setting is a bit of a stretch and definitely makes a light shot.

I did not purchase this machine from Amazon - I purchased mine directly from Nespresso. It is a great machine and makes a great cup of coffee with a good variety of coffee pods to choose from. I live in Florida, and I wanted to leave a comment for other users that may be in high humidity climates. I had issues with the milk frothing (aeroccino) not consistently frothing the milk. It would work sometimes and other times not. It was very frustrating for a number of months, until I called Nespresso to complain. I got right through to an American support person and when I told her the issues, she immediately asked the state I lived in. I am cheap (Asian), and was not keen on plopping down $100 on this cooker. Totally worth it. I got it after I saw some little old ladies at 99 Ranch buying one!

Cooks hot pot like a CHAMP. I was using a single burner with a divided hot pot pot (lol) on top and I had to boil a separate pot the stove to keep up with demand (feeding 4 adults). No more! This thing is sooo convenient. Super easy to adjust the temperature and it heats up quickly.

Nice safety feature that it has a magnetic power cord, in case someone trips over it or you have kids. It stays on just fine.

2. So Versatile and Easy to Clean...a Bachelor's Dream
I just moved into a tiny place with no kitchen to speak of and this product is perfect for me. With interchangeable grill plate and cooking pot, the one base takes up less overall space in my cabinet. I've used it for eggs, pancakes, stir-fry, steaming vegetables, macaroni and cheese, grilled steak and chicken. I'll make some mean chili this fall I'm sure. The whole thing is nonstick and cleans up easily with a paper towel. I recommend this for a dorm room or as an efficient alternative to a full size cooktop. I first discovered SANYO a few years ago when I bought my first toaster oven. I debated buying an indoor grill but went all out for this "multi-cooker".

High quality, great for hot pot
I bought this for my wife so we could do Nabe / Hot Pot/ Shabu Shabu / etc. It's significantly more expensive than buying a pot and a gas burner (which you can get at an Asian grocery for ~$40), but it is very high quality.

We've done Japanese Nabe and Sichuan Hot Pot in this pot and they were both great. The pot cooks very evenly and is more than enough for 4 people (I would think it could serve up to 8, definitely could do 6). The whole apparatus feels very solid like it was built to last.

Included also is a metal rack that that can be used to steam food (we used it for shumai and gyoza / jiaozi / potstickers.) We had been using our rice cooker for this, but the HPS-MC3 is a lot larger allowing you to steam a whole meal's worth and the design is such that it's easy to put it on your table and eat your food fresh from the steam.

The HPS-MC3 also includes a grilling plate which we might use some day but we haven't used it for that purpose.

This toaster took a while to arrive but its been in the kitchen for more than a year now and its awesome.

We don't used the bun warmer.

This toaster was very expensive and I really expected it to do a great job of toasting. But it toasts unevenly and takes a long time to toast. Also, it is not visible in the online picture, but it has a white plastic band around the bottom that really detracts from the design. Makes it look a little cheap. Mine has a tiny dent in one side. It's really very small, but the reflective quality of the stainless makes it show up. All in all, I would not recommend anyone buy this toaster unless the price came down to less than $50.00.

I have been a fan of simultaneous dual edge sharpeners, but most professional grade dual edge machines start around $1000 and need careful adjustment as well as are large and heavy, which is great as a stable platform but results in a hefty shipping cost. Fortunately I read the instructions which emphasized the initial runs would be to acquire a new angle, and from then the machine would sharpen the knife with a consistent hollow grind. 1. Excellent as a stepping stone
I recently purchased this mixer because I was questioning whether or not to purchase the much-celebrated Kitchen-Aid Artisan Mixer. My reasoning: "for far less money, I'll purchase this mixer and see how often I really use it, and if it warrants a larger purchase in a year or two."
I opened the box and promptly made a batch of cookies which turned out delicious! Two weeks later I made cupcakes and the batter was COMPLETELY smooth, no lumps and NO handmixing. I really enjoy that the bowl spins while mixing, the power is substantial, and it is not a large appliance and can be left out on the counter if desired.
I haven't used the dough hooks yet, but plan to make pizza with it soon, perhaps I'll add to this review at that time.
For now, I am completely satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to occasional bakers who don't want to shell out three times as much $$ for something they will only use a few times a year.

2. It's working pretty well.
I just started working with this mixer. It's working pretty well for a hand/stand mixer. The only thing that may make other people consider other mixers is the fact that this one spins around the outside of the bowl. That leaves the ingredients in the center needing a little extra hand mixing, which is fine with this machine. I can detach the mixer from it's stand and just mix through the remaining ingredients.

It's working fabulously for me so far. It has a 3.5qt flat bottomed bowl, a spatula, 1 set of beaters, dough hooks and a bubble whisk. For the price it's great. I'm hoping this one will last. It's got the retro styling and is compact enough to stay on my counter without taking up too much space.

WORST MIXER I'VE EVER USED
I don't usually like to give negative comments on things and only do so when they are truly deserved. This mixer is useless as a stand mixer. I bake A LOT and am not able to use this a s a stand mixer when I am making any recipe other than something with the consistency of water. If you are going to let this mixer sit and gather dust in a cabinet then it can't do you any harm. If, however, you are actually looking for a mixer that you can use don't buy this one. The motor is pretty powerful but the design of the stand and beaters is really just bad. I've been baking for over 30 years and just retired a Krups hand/stand mixer after about 25 years that had a GREAT design. Too bad Krups doesn't still make it or I'd buy one. Anyway, this mixer doesn't turn the bowl. You have to do that. The turn mechanism is on the beater rather than the stand and the beaters are the old fashioned type that gets batter stuck in them which inhibits the turning mechanism. I've ended up either...

First off this is a VERY attractive appliance. The picture on the website does not do it justice, as weird as that may seem. It is substancial, well built, and looks and feels like something from a professional kitchen. Even though the measurements are documented, the oven just seems bigger. Personally, I think it's too big for a counter and would be best mounted into a unit. There could be some problems with mounting because you absolutely DO need the recommended space above, behind and to the sides - you can't get away with putting it up against anything if you plan on using the steam feature.

Good things:
The convention over works exactly as it should - I made a cake and it came out super-fluffy and perfectly cooked in and out, and very moist. Also made a sandwich and the bread was nice and crispy and the tomatoes inside were perfectly cooked. I made two chickens - one with the steam and one without. Both were good, but the one with the steam did get brown...

I love to cook and I was intrigued by the SuperSteam and its method of cooking. A simple convection microwave combination is nothing new but this is the most advanced cooking apparatus I have ever used. I was hoping that SuperSteam wouldn't be a useless gimmick. It wasn't. The oven itself is boxy and larger than I expected. I can see it would work nicely installed, as it takes up almost all of a 36" countertop and just barely fits under the upper cabinet. It is a good looking machine, solid feeling and even has a sleep mode option for the display, so it won't light up a dark room if that's what you want. Just another nice touch.

Commercial quality at a non-commercial price
I had a friend who had one of these built into her kitchen. My first thoughts were (in my head): rich people, grrr! Restaurants also commonly use these (called combi ovens because they cook in three modes: micro, convection, and steam), although a commercial oven like this would run at least two to three times the price. Now that I've tried it I have to wonder if these shouldn't be standard equipment in new homes along with a glass cook top. Singles, couples, and condo owners might want to consider having one of these installed in their next kitchen along with a glass cook top rather than a full sized oven and microwave.

This uses far less energy that an electric oven. At 700 watts, it even uses less energy than my microwave which was surprising. My microwave, a GE Spacemaker XL 1800 uses 1100 watts and can't cook nearly as many types of food as this oven. I have been using super-automatic espresso machines since 2001. This is my 6th machine and by far my favorite. Having owned one Capresso C1500, three Jura-Capressos, one Saeco and now the Gaggia Academia, I've found this machine to outperform the rest by far. I loved the quality of the Capresso and Jura-Capresso machines, but having to send them in once a year for service at a cost of over $300 was excessive. I just purchased this machine from Amazon and have been incredibly impressed with the build quality, features, and quality of the coffee produced. You can't beat this machine in terms of the product design, multitudes of modes of operation, and elimination of cleaning chores often associated with fully automatic home machines.

Bought well over a year ago, still loving it!
We bought this machine after testing just about every model made at the time (about 18 months ago). We knew we wanted a machine that had a milk container that could easily be detached and kept chilled in the refrigerator. My husband also wanted a machine that could consistently produce a really hot cup of coffee. That became an impossible quest as we went from store to store sampling straight-up black coffee, armed with our own instant-read thermometer. (Yeah, we were THAT couple.) Then, just when we were about to give up and wait for something new to come out, we finally happened upon the Accademia by Gaggia. It fit the bill nicely: made decently hot coffee, had a separate milk carafe, gave lots of control over personal choice selection, and it even looked great. 1. Really great juicer but no customer service
I can't compare this to any others since it is my first juicer but I can't believe how fast it juices! Since there weren't too many reviews I was a little nervous but this machine is outstanding. Leftover pulp is dry so it squeezes out all the juice. And it's a breeze to clean. Definitely a great buy.
UPDATE: Luckily the juicer is still performing well because there is no on line customer service! When you go to www.juicebullet.com like they say in the manual, there is a picture of the juicer. That's it, no links, no nothing. Makes me really nervous so I took away a star.

2. Boy, oh, boy!!!!
This item just arrived today. Of course I wanted to try it out the second I saw it. Unfortunately we were pretty much out of fruits and veggies that I could use for the first trial. Well... there was this one apple in our fridge from the days of yore!! It was already pretty shriveled up and I would've provably rather thrown it out than eat it. I don't think it would be very enjoyable. But hey, maybe the Juice Bullet can save it. So I put the glass under, threw the apple in and expected to get very slow running droplets into my glass....... NOPE!!! That Juice Bullet filled the glass half up!!!! I was amazed!! And low and behold, THAT'S how the apple could still be fully enjoyed!! The fun part is, the instructions tell you to start out on 'LOW' and then turn it to 'HIGH'. I didn't even get the chance to use the 'HIGH' option. That apple was juiced up in like 2-3 seconds. CRAZY!!!!! Highly recommend this product!!!! Can't wait to throw all kinds of stuff in there!!! :D

1. Outstanding Espresso / Great Size & Design
After weeks of research we ended up selecting the Jura-Capresso ENA 4.

I was a bit skeptical that this small little super automatic could really replace our larger manual and brew quality espresso. I went to a local retailer and was fortunate enough to be able to use a demo unit. I was amazed by how simple and intuitive the ENA 4 is to use; while at the same time provides a level of flexibility and control well beyond my expectations.

2. Great Coffee, Bad Water Container
This is our third Capresso (or Jura Capresso) superautomatic coffee machine. In our experience these machines last only a few years before needing repair but they make such good coffee, so easily and quickly, that we keep coming back to them. We've tried other brands and none rivals Jura Capresso's coffee. This is our first machine of the Ena generation, however. We just bought an Ena 3. While the coffee is as good as that of previous models, the new design is disappointing. The rotary dial is a pain but it is tolerable once you master it. The water tank, on the other hand, is an absolute nightmare. We can only make three mugs of coffee before it must be refilled, and the rear location of the tank makes that task very difficult, especially since our machine must be located on a kitchen countertop beneath upper cabinets. In addition we have under-cabinet lighting, and it's hard to remove the water tank for refilling without bumping into the lights and burning your hand. In my opinion...

Perfect for home use
I purchased the ENA4 2 years ago, actually I purchased the ENA3 which is black, but I was given the ENA4. The only difference is the color. It has never failed to produce an excellent shots of espresso. Generally, I make lattes or cappuccino.

Performing the routine maintenance, when indicated, produces the best results.

This is a home unit, not designed for power users. Wouldn't recommend it for an office or high volume household.
