This Rice Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. awesome and durable
I've had this rice cooker for 9 years now and have used it at least weekly for that long. I also will leave it on for days with the rice warming. It's durable, dependable. I have also cooked other things in it- leave wild rice in for at least 30 mins after the warming light is on- also have cooked wheatberries and quinoa without any problems. Very easy. Gets a little gummy with the steam drain, but that happens on all of them. Very easy to clean. After 9 years, the inside pot is a little scratched, but rice doesn't stick- I have to say on occasion I used metal utensils and this is where the scratches came from.
I also like that it has 1 button only. You don't have to keep on pulling out a user manual or worry about an lcd screen.
The size is good too- for maybe up to 4-6 people.
2. Worth The Price; Foolproof Simplicity
I never thought I would use a rice cooker that is actually worth a hundred dollars. We had the standard cheapy Aroma aluminum popup cooker before, which we were always pleased with. We got used to the bottom being covered with stuck rice. After using this cooker we could not believe or understand the increased performance. It does not look that much more complex than the less expensive units, but it makes perfect rice every time, from top to the bottom of the pot. And not just average white rice. We cook every type and color of rice, as well as packaged rice dishes, and everything comes out great. Our usual is brown jasmine or basmati rice straight. Or sometimes we throw in some Thai black sticky rice, red Thai rice, or stretch the more expensive jasmine and basmati with plain brown Walmart rice. Makes no difference, the cooker knows what to do. We even mix brown and white, which normally have different cooking times. But the mixture comes out great in this rice cooker...

Great product.
I have several rice cooker and Tiger is one of the best. Does not cook brown rice as well but it cooks quick and can leave it for several days.
I'll be getting another; 4 cups.
