This Espresso Machine & Coffeemaker Combos give to us some advantages, like this :
1. The next generation of Keurig, for superior coffee.
Keurig has amazing single cup brewers. I enjoyed my previous generation one for a long time. However I needed somehign that can do more, and provide a deeper stronger brew. This unit was the answer.

Previous k-cup unit tend to produce a weaker brew. The Vue with V-cups does not suffer from that. You can select yoru brew strength, and that really works. Even with medium blend coffee's, you get a rich, full body, strong cup of coffee when you select strong as the strength on the touch panel.

Brew over ice (lowers temp), 2 step café brewing for the special coffee blends (latte's and more). You can set the time the unit turns on in the am, and off. Change the temperature setting, and more.

This brewer is amazing. The con is it doesn't use regular k-cups, but V-cups are a better choice for picky coffee drinkers. THey are available at all major stores.

Say good bye to weak coffee and hello to coffee perfection.

2. Worth every penny
Had the base model Keurig for 18 months and then it quit. Did a lot of research looking for one that would last (including other brands like Cuisenart) before selecting this one.

On the plus side:

- very well made
- heavy duty, long power cord
- large capacity water tank
- can brew several sizes up to 18 oz
- can do coffee, cocoa, tea, iced tea, and cafe drinks (latte, cappuccino)
- machine has smart pump that mixes pressure, air, temp according to the kind of drink you are making, where k-cup machine does everything the same way
- vue cups are recyclable! K-cup are not and are filling landfills by the billion.
- pump is pretty quiet
- touch screen is very easy to use and works great
- removable tray at base of cup to suit larger go-cups, etc
- coffee tastes better to me than standard k-cup machine. Vanilla Latte is a favorite of mine it's delicious!

Better built machine vs home Vue
I purchased the V1255 machine over the Vue700 home model because it seemed to be built better after reading the product description. When it arrived, I was very pleased and immediately felt that I made the right decision. My Keurig Vue Small Office brewer is really easy to operate right out of the box. Via the easy to read touch screen menu, it walks me through which kind of beverage I would like, whether it be a basic or strong cup of coffee or an impressive cup of Cappuccino complete with "frothy" topping as well as what size I preferred for that brew cycle. I purchased a Vue machine because our usual coffee cups at home are an over sized 18oz mug and I love them. With our other Keurig Special Edition K-65, K-Cup machine, I had to brew both a large & medium sized cup to get a cup of whatever my fancy desired. I've got to hand it to Kitchenaid, they've made the most indestructible bulletproof mixers known to man. I've have this hand mixer for well over a decade and it's never let me down; absolutely nothing on it has ever failed. 1. My quest for perfect espresso is finally over!
This review is based on my experience with the Nespresso Essenza C90, but the Nespresso Essenza D90 is quite similar, and the espresso making mechanism is exactly the same.

We all have our little passions. Over the years, I have devoted too much time, money, and study to perfecting the art of making the perfect coffee and espresso. I searched the world (and the internet) for the best beans, grinders, equipment, and even tried roasting my own beans and became able to produce better potions that one can ever find in the coffee boutiques. Still, as it turns out, my efforts were in vain. The Nespresso Essenza (and probably the other Nespresso machines similar in design) produces the perfect cup and the ease of doing so, sadly, puts my efforts to shame.

The secret seems to be in the strong pumping mechanism (19 bars of pressure, same as their more expensive machines) and their superb coffee capsules. After being such a stickler for the freshest roasted estate grown...

2. very good coffee machine
I use Nespresso machine for about one month. It already produced 60-100 shots, makes tasty beverage for about $0.60 per cup, very neat and easy to operate. Coffee selection is excellent. Delivery of new capsules is fast. I highly recommend to buy special flat box for coffee capsules (actually, it comes free with $110 "welcome" package together with 200 capsules - a good deal). I use it to entertain my guests (it's like waiter in upscale restaurunt offers you teas in special box)and myself every morning.
The only drawback of this machine is inconvenient location of water tank - at the back side. So, every time I pour water I have to move machine from the wall and then move it back.

Nespresso is fantastic. Get the cheapest machine you can get.
Below is my review of the Nespresso machine, and I love it. Couldn't be better and I highly recommend it. ONE THING THOUGH: make sure you compare the specs of the machine you buy, before you make the purchase. I bought the more expensive "cube" assuming it was better in some way (more power! yeah!) But it isn't. At the time I bought my cube, it was identical in spec (pump size, pressure, volume, etc.) to the other, cheaper machines offered. The only difference was form factor. So... if you're gonna get a nespresso, and I HOPE YOU DO, make sure choose which model to buy for the right reasons.

With all the new style espresso machines on the market (Tassimo, Keurig, Flavia, etc.) I was convinced that Nespresso was more of the same: a set of stylish gimmicks designed to convince you that this "espresso" (though not real at all) was "the real thing." It never is.

1. A Blessing for Cooks and Gardeners
I grow, literally, 50 or so different varieties of herbs of all sorts, from the common place to the exotic. Drying them was always a process, and I always seemed to lose them to mold, mildew, or those that I kept were brown and unattractive looking. Then, as a gift, my husband bought me this dehydrator because he was told it'd dry herbs.

This little gadget has turned into just about the most important gadget I have in my kitchen. It's practically in-use everyday from May to November, dehydrating everything from my precious herbs, to apples, tomatoes, jerky, and all manner of fruit and flower. This dehydrator has literally saved me hundreds of dollars, not only because I can make my own jerky, fruit roll-ups, and dried fruits for everything from trail mix to healthy snacks, but because vegetables from the garden that were left to rot because we couldn't otherwise keep them (and there wasn't enough to can) are now being saved, and every last one of my herbs, even some...

I love my new Nesco FD-60 dehydrator. My first month I probably spent $300 in fruit and meat trying all sorts of recipes and fruit-roll mixture.
However I recommend buying from Walmart. Their price is about $45. Also, I wouldn't recommend buying expansion trays because 4 trays cost about $30 but a new dehydrator for $45 includes 4 trays and a fruit roll sheet (>$4 value)plus the usefullness of a backup or second dehydtation unit.
That aside, beef jerky, dried fruits and homemade fruit rolls are wonderful and easy with this unit. Much better IMHO than using the oven (safer, faster, more cost effiecient).

Absolutely love this machine, Beef jerky heaven.
This is the second food dehydrator I have owned, and I must say that this one is a great investment and value. My other machine was a lower priced model from another company, and takes longer to work. This machine is quiet and fast. The beef jerky recipe is great, or you can buy the optional jerky gun from Nesco and use their mix packets. About 3 LBS of ground beef and the jerky gun will fill this machine and be done in about 4 hours. I have made about 12 batches over the past year with this machine, and it is reliable and consistent. Unless you do tons of fruit or jerky, buying a larger model is just not worth it. For the causual user like me, this is the best model. Dishwasher safe clean up of trays as well (takes some maneuvering though to fit them in).

I spent much of last Sunday afternoon using one of these at a church festival. I would give it five stars except that it doesn't have a heating element in the bottom to keep the popcorn warm (the little heat lamp doesn't really do that).

Compared to the 8oz unit I used last year at another activity, it does not produce THAT much popcorn, but, unlike the 2oz machines, it's plenty for most families, and you can keep refilling it again and again for a big event. Very solid and backed by a real company that makes many of the machines you see in movie theaters, etc.

I'm going to be posting the same review for several listings - because the vendors don't put the model # in their titles, Amazon lists them as separate machines.

1. Good with faults
I have used one of these for about 3 months now about once per day. It does a great job of making my smoothies, even blending up frozen fruit pretty well.

2 problems though. It stopped working last week, the drive shaft on the attachment part came loose such that the motor couldn't engage the shaft. I bent the 2 tabs out to remove the top collar, then took off the nut and blade and pulled the shaft out. The first problem is it is very clear that smoothie was getting up the shaft into the middle of the attachment with a lot of mold etc.. This is a serious problem, but can be solved by cleaning better. I now put the blender attachment in a mason jar with clean water after EVERY use and run it then rinse. I do this a couple of times until the rinse water is clear.

The second problem was they used a cheap fiber washer to hold the shaft in place that broke. I went to Ace and got a c-clip and copper washer. I washed out the center of the attachment, put the...

2. Solid, professional grade hand blender
I bought one of these to use for a few things around the kitchen, such as making smoothies without lugging out the big, heavy-duty blender. So far, the Viking lives up to its name, being rugged, powerful and a no-nonsense tool for the chef.

The unit itself is well made and looks like it will last a long time with mostly metal and heavy-duty construction. In my kitchen, you'd find a Viking range and cooktop, and this hand blender fits right in.

In terms of performance, it's done everything I've asked of it, from making smoothies and smooth gravies to crushing ice and nuts. Although slightly heavy, it handles well and seems to have more than enough power for any task. When the work is done, it's also easy to clean and store.

Overall, only small complaint is that it tends to be a bit noisy, but I suppose that's expected for this type of tool.

Definitely recommended!

1. Disappointing product from Nespresso
I've used a Nespresso machine for about 8 years, and the results have been terrific. My original machine, one of the first on the market, has been slowing down over the past year, to the point where the water flow was thin and slow. I decided to purchase a new machine, and after some extensive research, decided on the U. When I set it up at home, and put a capsule in, clear water came through, half in the cup under the spout, and half in the water tray. I repeated the process several times, and each time only water came through, not coffee. After spending a half an hour on the phone with Nespresso, and trying different fixes suggested by the agent (after being put on hold repeatedly), I was told to try cleaning the interior of the machine. With that I gave up--who wants a machine that has to be cleaned for it to work properly, and who knows what else lurks inside. It should work out of the box.

2. Love the Nespresso!
Coffee at our house just stepped up a few levels. We used to have two makers on our counter, one regular drip coffee and a keurig. We now only have one coffee maker.

It is a little louder than a normal coffee maker, but it is making espresso at 19 bars of pressure. It's gonna be loud. The coffee pods are more expensive than regular coffee but taste like it.

The unit is small and easy to clean and maintain. A cup of coffee can be made as strongly or lightly as desired.

Great Machine, Great (but not cheap) Coffee
Recently I was at a Disney hotel and they had a self-service Nespresso machine for guests. I fell in love the coffee. So, while standing in a line at Disneyland I ordered the U on my phone. I compared several of the machines and the U seemed to have the best features for the price. Plus, what man is going to order something called the "Pixie." Really Nespresso?

I have only had it for a couple of days and I will update this review if I run into any problems or have more to say, however this is my first impression.

1. Great little home juicer!
After buying a junky manual wheatgrass press, I got this one. It's an amazing little machine! It's not too loud, it squeezes every little bit of juice out, and it's easy to clean. You just have to follow the directions and use only a small amount of wheatgrass at a time. But it goes through quite quickly and effortlessly.

So, if used correctly, this machine will give great results, and also works well with apples, mangos, grapes, and other soft fruits. Just remember to only use a small amount of produce or wheatgrass at a time! SMALL AMOUNTS!

I have the stainless model. That part is good.
In fact it's excellent and pretty easy to clean.
I have had problems with the motor twice, but
they will stand behind and send you a repaired
or new one, after sending the old one in. So
you may be without it occasionally, frustratingly

compare it to any other juicer, but it's light and

Overpriced for the quality
It looks nice, functions, the exterior wipes clean easily, and it's not loud at all. That's about all I can say on a positive note. While I don't like giving bad reviews, these considerations may save someone else a hassle. Had I read what I'm about to say here before buying this juicer, I probably wouldn't have purchased it at all.

Of most concern is that the plastic auger on mine was damaged in use. A half inch strip of one of the screw surfaces at the smaller end is chewed up, which happened after using it less than 10 times. A mangled strip of plastic was peeled back and needed to be cut away before using it again.

The machine is fussy about how much you feed into it. Accidentally jamming it can result in the damage noted above.

Fairly difficult to clean; it can also be tricky to fit together.

Plastic parts can't be tightened properly, and the end where the rope of grass comes out drips, unscrewing itself as the machine runs...

Very happy in the first day, one gallon of could water and 1 litter of hot. I tried to prepare my oat meal direct from hot water's dispenser, 5 min later ready to eat.
It was Sunday afternoon when I installed it, water was not going in the tank, check the web site, clicked on chat now, some one answered, told me to lock the filter, I tried, rotating clockwise, and that was it. I was very surprised to get an answer on a Sunday 5PM.
The only think I did not like is the connection from the cold water pipe, they send you a small faucet that punches the pipe, and I drove to HomeDepo and bought a 3 /8 "T (male, female) with a 1 /4 exit. It is the same as refrigerator ice pipe. I did it under the sink, removed the flexible hose, that goes to foucet, added the "T", connected the flexy hose, connected my pipe. Done.

There are two types of people I feel sorry for. The one type are the people who give this product a negative review because they can't follow some simple instructions, and the other being the people who will be put off buying this blender because of the first. This is the perfect smoothie maker!
I dont know what everyone is complaining about, this is the best dang thing I've purchased in a long time! I use it only for smoothies. I bought it because it has dual blades, dual chambers, separate cups - but you can do 2 cups at a time if you wish. The whole process to make my protein smoothie takes all of 3 minutes. I am 9 1/2 months pregnant, and trust me, if it were difficult to use, I wouldn't use it! The cleanup is amazingly simple. I just rinse the removable blade in hot water and replace. I simply rinse the cups and caps the same way, and it's ready for tomorrow. I make my smoothies with frozen and fresh fruit, juice and protein powder. I think the people who say it doesn't work well dont make smoothies correctly - you need a liquid in order for the ice or frozen pieces to rotate around the blades - this is true for even the very best blenders. Bought this as a replacement for a Frigidaire that's thermostat wouldn't work (and Frigidaire wouldn't do anything about it even tho it was a very common problem). Really like this Danby much better. Able to put quart of milk IN refrig instead of just in the door like old one. Very happy with this product!

A perfect addition to our tack room. Plenty of internal storage and handy can dispensers. The dispenser allows you to select any can, I have a different brand mini fridge in my workshop which requires you select the bottom can in a stack of eight, this dispenser allows you to select your drink, any drink. A full width freezer compartment is not typical, and was a welcome find on this fridge.

Transport of mini fridges is always going to be difficult, because they do not have substantial packaging. I ordered this one using prime next day to minimize the time in transit. It had minor dings which is fine for a tack room. You may consider buying one locally if you want this to arrive blemish free. The packing of this and all other mini fridges is not designed for carrier transpiration. You will have some damage, even if that damage is a small ding on the back.

It keeps the contents nice and cold, even when set on the middle area of the thermostat.

Spacious and quiet
Very good fridge. It has plenty of space for the typical dorm room and the drink rack in the door is nice. Freezer section makes ice fine but won't keep ice cream frozen. I have it located under my bed in college and noise is not a problem, it has never woken me up despite being 3 feet from my head.
The door did come with a slight dent in the door but this has not affected functionality at all, I'm not sure whether Amazon or the shipping company was responsible for this but it isn't a big deal.

Cheap Materials
I chose this rating because, the materials are cheap plastic. The large juicing cap broke within three weeks of using this juicer. I tried to contact customer service, and the first individual I spoke with didn't even know the product I was calling about. The second person identified the broken pieces and said that he would mail to me. That was about a month ago. I can hardly use the juicer without the replacement parts. The grinder is also plastic and not strong at all. Carrots need a hard pressure to get ground.

I wanted to send this back, but was a week late on the option.

I would give Weston's customer service a 5 star rating, but not for this grinder. I purchase this grinder on June 11, 2013, received the grinder within two business days later, and as of today, I can not grind a boneless chicken thigh without it getting clogged. There's no problem grinding the meat; the ground meat just backs up into the Auger in the grinding head until the head gets so that full the excess meat gets stuck between the grinding knife and the grinder plate. It's almost as if the grinder is operating in reverse, even though it does not have a reverse function. So, every time I ground a chicken thigh, I would have to remove the grinding head, scoop up the ground meat in the head, clean the Auger and knife and then unclog the grinder plate. I bought this after reading reviews from various sites on how well it was liked and not liked.The day after I had it here, I put it to work and I do mean "work"! On the first day I packaged from box to Food Saver bags: 10lbs of chicken leg quarters, 5lbs of Bisquick mix, 1 case of ramon noodles, 3lbs of dehydrated onions, 1lb of beef bullion cubes, 1lb of chicken bullion cubes, OVER 30 boxes of fruit snacks, 2 dozen single serve tea bags, 1lrg bag of marshmallows, 6 bars of soap, 4 pckgs of dehydrated onion soup mix, 6 pckgs of dehydrated chicken soup mix, and several small packages of cereal.....ALL IN ONE DAY!

I found that reading the directions first was helpful. As I noticed in a few reviews on various sites, that several people had obviously not read the directions first. When I packaged the chicken leg quarters I was tired and forgot to put the paper towel at the top of the bag to catch the liquids. The tray in the Food Saver caught it all nicely. The next day though...

2. Many Design Flaws
Okay it looks nice and takes up less counter space - but from day 1 I was disappointed in it compared to every FoodSaver I've ever had before.

1) You have to fit the bag into the slot and wait for it to recognize it is there and to start vacuuming "automatically". The models where you open the unit, place the bag, and press a button don't require are much more usefull. They don't require as much bag to be inside it to work - so this thing wastses about an inch on every bag (which really adds up). With the lift top styles you can use other bags. I always resealed my cereal bags, chip bags, and such after every use - and it was simple. Good luck getting cereal bags to go into the slot on this and trip the sensors. For packaging treats for kids I used to buy the really cheap foldover sandwhich bags and just seal them for a second - not a chance with this style...

2) Creating your bag with this unit is really clumsy compared to the regular units. You have to...

Best purchase ever
I bought this Foodsaver, not just for the sealing of the bags, but also for the sealing up of my canning jars. You can purchase a regular or wide mouth canning jar adapter, and with a single lid, seal up things like chocolate chips, nuts, croutons, brown sugar, and dried fruit. A neighbor of mine showed me (and let me taste) some 3 year old apples she had done this with and they were more perfect than those we dried and saved the normal way just this last fall. Wonderful Mixer and Easy To Clean
I was thrilled to get this mixer to replace an old Sunbeam stand that I've has for years. I didn't use it much because it was a real pain to store and to use.

This product has a lot going for it once you get past the nauseating smell of whatever it is they packed it in. PEEEEEUUUUU! Once that dissapates and you get close enough to the box to unpack it you are good to go.

On the plus side this mixer is very heavy. The entire thing is a closed unit, which makes it so easy to clean. I just used it to make a key lime pie. I am a really messy cook, and in separating my eggs I had it everywhere. Even under the bowl. The area under the bowl is completely sealed in and once the bowl is removed it is an easy clean up. I have used many juicers in the past, and this one is by far the highest of quality. First of all, since this juicer does not have a pulp ejection system, the pulp actually spins in the juicer yielding about 30% more juice for your drinking pleasure. The filters make cleanup really simple. My favorite point about the juicer is the quality construction. They use stainless steel for most of the upper housing. Filters are available locally. It's a great way to start your day, and hopefully for years to come. Happy juicing!

2. Disappointed
I bought this machine for its power and brand-name quality. It is powerfull indeed and is sturdy in construction. With its centrifugal approach to extracting juices, the machine really gets the juice out until the last drop. I really liked it until I tried putting watermelon in it: the machine grinded the juice shreder plate inside. No more quality and effortless juicing after that. Had the machine replaced thinking it was just the particular unit I had purchased, but it happened again. So, I was left with having to purchase a replacement plate from the manufacturer. This third time I tried grapes, and whamo!...for the third time the machine ruined its plate. Best on the market
I have used this product for about 2 years now. In terms of quality you are getting your money's worth. It is a solid industrial device that is not likely to have mechanical or structural problems during an owner's lifetime.

In terms of use, it is pretty good. Because of the straining action it uses you get significantly more juice per vegetable than any other machine. The only issue I have is with cleanup. It's not bad per se but you do need the filters to save you 80% of the cleanup without them. Even with the filters though it is damn tricky to get all the fibrous leftovers out of the metal spinner. There is just no simple physical way to get pulp out given the design of the spinner. Having said that we're talking a minute or two of running this thing under a faucet tilting it back and forth. If they can solve this I'll give them 5 stars.

Finally it looks good. I just wish they would bring back the blue model that my ex took!

We use this tray almost nightly to heat dinner dishes and keep all components of the meal warm until we're ready to eat. We've had it for at least a year and it has functioned perfectly. There's a thermostat to adjust the heat level and a light to let you know whether you've remembered to turn it on or off. We keep it on the counter next to the stove. Perhaps not the most beautiful item in the kitchen, but perfectly acceptable and highly functional. Nice large size. I recommend this product.

We own a small bakery and were using a coffee service for the last decade. I bought this brewer to cancel the coffee service and replace the older brewer that was supplied by them. I like the ability to control not only the amount of coffee being brewed but also the temperature. It only allows a single setting though-- I wish it had the ability to have two settings: one for regular and one for decaf. Another plus is the ability to shut the entire system down with a kill switch on the back. This way it isn't burning electricity keeping the water hot when we are closed.

2. Customizable and durable. We have 6 units
We have 6 of these units programmed identically for about 500 people in 6 kitchens. I've used them for 2 years now with little issue.
There are a lot of settings. Some are useful. Not all are well explained in the manual.

I went into mourning when my 30YO Amana Radarange Plus microwave-convection oven, big enough for a 20lb+ turkey, gave up the ghost this summer. Unable to find anyone in the area who would take on repairing it, I had to face replacing it. I settled on this Whirlpool microwave...and I love it! It's a lot smaller, but I love the features. Very efficient, lives up to its billing. And the service was fantastic--it arrived within a couple days of my order. My Amana lives on as a Faraday Cage--perhaps one day I'll find a repair guy who likes working on classics. Even if I do, I won't give up my new Whirlpool microwave.

2. Powerful, quiet, but not really 1.6 cubic feet
I had to replaced a 14 year old Sharp unit that the whole family loved. This Whirlpool model was purchased because we've had good luck with Whirlpool appliances in the past and because it was 17.25" deep (the size of my microwave shelf). Many microwave ovens are now 19" deep and more. This unit is very powerful (1200 watts). It handles soup, popcorn, and hot drinks in record time for us. This Whirlpool unit is extremely quiet as well.

I have two (2) minor issues worth noting but not worth lowering the rating. Whirlpool says that one of the features is a recessed turntable. This unit does NOT have a recessed turntable. The glass turntable sits above the level of the floor of the oven. And second, the blue LED display is extremely bright. It's so bright that it's hard to focus on. We're going to have to put some window tint over the display.

I lower the rating on this oven to 2-stars based on the cavity size. The oven cavity measures 14.5" x 14.5" x...

I purchased this microwave based on a review by Consumer Reports and thought that I was going to love this item. Unfortunately, the microwave makes a grinding sound when it runs. We took out the little plastic hub and put it back. We made sure that the round support was centered, though it tends to shift to one side. Made sure that the glass was centered. We even had a repair guy here and he said that it was noisy and that replacing the support might help. We contacted Whirlpool and they said that they would send us a replacement support and a month later there was no replacement nor notification that there would be no replacement. I have been using this product at work for a while now and it honestly transforms my afternoon coffee from a boring pick me up to a fantastic cappuccino! It creates very, very thick rich foam (here's a hint: skim milk actually makes the best foam. Not sure why - something to do with milk fat in whole milk....) for cappuccinos and lattes, and is awesome at heating up milk for hot chocolate, vanilla steamers, etc.

1. Great - But....
The good:

For making pizza or for baking small items, this works really well. If you want it just as a replacement for your toaster, then you'll be pounding a nail with a sledge hammer... Get it if you need both functions.

The not so good:

1) The printing on the function buttons (on - off) wore off after about a month or so. Not a big problem since we knew what the buttons were for by then.

2) It runs hot for baking, etc, so plan to run it ~ 25F lower than your recipe (also not too big of a problem, once we figured it out).

3) After about 3 mos, the top heating elements failed (big problem).

I just called Cuisinart's customer service. They will be shipping me a new unit (7-10 days), and I'll have to return the old one back to them (along with $20 for shipping both ways). Still, their response was definitely hassle-free. I'll post a few months from now to update...

2. Great little oven
This replaced out toaster oven. works great except it is missing a timer function. The toasting function is timed, but nothing for baking. Bummer.

The included baking stone does a great job with pizzas. the included pizza dough recipes came out great.

The unit does wobble out of the box, you have to adjust the one leg by twisting it to the proper length. Rock solid and level now!

Great little oven
This oven looks great and cooks great. Toast is done to perfection. If I could, I would add one other thing to it. Presently it only times food set on toast. It would be great if there was also a timer for bake and broil.
The oven holds a lot, and the items I baked in it (salmon, chicken) were cooked to perfection.

We bought this Bunn coffee maker for the staff room at our elementary school, a busy place first thing in the morning. We have burned through a couple other, less expensive brands of coffee makers trying to keep up with the coffee demand. This machine meets the coffee demand, is beautiful, brews a quick and delicious 12 cup pot of coffee, and is easy to operate. It is more expensive, but we have spent at least this much on cheaper coffee makers that don't even last a year.

1. Took rice from an occasional treat to whenever we want it!
I have had several of the cheaper on/off rice cookers. They worked ok for white rice, but anything else - forget it. Even with white rice, the bottom consistently got crusty and brown. The stay warm features on those types of cookers have a tendency to run too hot, thus scalding the bottom layer.

Now I have a Zojirushi! I rinse some rice in the morning throw it in the Zoji, throw in a little butter and sea salt, set the timer and I am done! Any type of rice! I have cooked Jasmine, Basmati, Brown, Wild, Sticky, and various blends - all of them PERFECT every time.

My mom taught me the secret to better rice is to let it soak (especially sticky) before you cook it. This is made so easy because once you've added the rice and set the timer, it soaks all day.

I love that you set the timer for when you want the rice to BE READY, not when you want it to start cooking. That way, I can time the rice perfectly to coincide with dinner - brilliant!

Excellent choice! I've purchased several rice cookers in the past. The last one I had was a Tiger Brand which I was very disappointed with. This by far was the best rice cooker I've ever had. We cook rice everyday and although it takes a little longer than the other brands I've used, the rice comes out "PERFECT" each time and does not get spoiled easily. One of the best feature is that you can actually see the measurement inside the pot.The pot in itself is heavy duty.
It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for and this Zojirushi is definitelyworth the money. It also has two different tunes when you initially press the cooking button and after it's done...very cute! We all love it and will definitely recommend to anyone.

You Can Make Perfect Rice and Have it Waiting for You
**UPDATE** I've had this rice cooker and "The Ultimate Rice Cooker Book" for 2 years now and I use my Zojirushi 10-cup Micom Rice Cooker all of the time. It's the best! There is an Arborio Rice Pudding recipe in the book that I am known for in all of my social circles. This rice cooker (and book) were a great investment. I'm so happy and highly recommend it. Go get one!
