1. A Great Popcorn Popper!
I purchased this unit for our community theatre's concession stand. It is perfect. It pops twice as much as our old popper and is very easy to maintain.
I highly recommend you read the instructions thoroughly as they are vague.
The only reason I did not give my review 5 stars is I had some issue with the soft metal of the handles and hinges of the doors. Any misuse and the doors will not close.

2. BEST Machine
We love this machine. We are a small childcare center and we love popcorn. This small machine is great for our needs. It has easy clean-up and a small footprint!

1. Great popcorn maker
Recently purchased this machine. Was going to purchase the maximax machine but there's a hefty shipping fee associated with it. Ordered next-day for this machine through Prime (cost only 3.50) and it arrived the next day on time. I couldn't believe it actually took 1 day! The shipping container was in pristine shape also. Installation was very easy. Took maybe 20 minutes. I've seen another review where they said that the kettle looks more like a 6oz rather than a 8oz. I don't know about that, but I used a 8oz all-in-one popcorn kit and it popped all the popcorn with ease. Very few old maids. Extremely satisfied with purchase. Looks great in my media room.

2. Popcorn Maker
Makes good popcorn and it is fairly easy to assemble. Wrench for assembly is provided as well as a scoop and salt shaker. This was not noted in the item description on Amazon so I ended up buying these items as well. As a result have an extra scoop and shaker but this is not a big deal. This machine is pretty heavy as well when it is on the stand. Kettle is removeable as well as the upper box which is on a spring retention system for easier cleaning.

Product was not as described on Amazon. Product specification said product included a warming deck. When it arrived one was not included. Contacted seller who stated that warming deck was only on 6oz and 8oz models. After much back and forth conversation, they finally agreed to replace it with one that has a warming deck. The replacement unit is either used or refurbished.

1. Cheaply Made Popcorn Machine
We bought this popcorn for our 4th grade fundraiser at our school. This machine is cheaply made and continues to get stuck while it is spinning. I have had two parents look at it and they stated that the motor is made of plastic and the wheels slip. It is very dissapointing because our PTA bought it for us and now it is no use. Spend the extra money and buy a REAL popcorn machine. Oh and it would be nice if we could have a number to call the company about the situation, but they only do e-mails.

2. Stopped Working
I bought this machine in July for a birthday party. After popping three packages of popcorn, the rotating arm started sticking and making a horrific sound. It stopped spinning and I had to stick a long metal kabob stick in through the gaps in order to force it to move again.

Thinking that maybe I just used it too many times in a row that night w/o cleaning it, I gave the entire machine a royal cleaning and put it away. Tonight I pulled it out again after nearly 4 months of rest. Guess what: the spinning arm stuck AGAIN giving off a horrible screech. Without the spinning arm, the popcorn doesn't move and burns in the cooking pot.

VERY DISAPPOINTED given the price point. I feel like I'd have been better off buying a cheap machine from my local big box store and saved myself the frustration. At least when it stopped working I would have figured I got what I paid for. In this case I received a big piece of expensive JUNK!

Great Purchase! Very Happy!
We purchased this item for our church to use during movie nights and other events and were VERY pleased by how well it did. We ended up with 100 people in attendance and several of them came back for second and third helpings! After the 15th batch the stirrer did start to get a little sluggish from all the oil residue.Not sure any other popcorn maker aside from the really expensive commercial ones would have done any better.Easy to assemble, fairly easy to clean, and it shipped really quickly! Plus, I didn't notice any of the other makers having a 5 year warranty!

I first ordered a Funtime FT421CR Antique Carnival-Style 4-Ounce Tabletop Hot-Oil Popcorn Popper, Red - but it was damaged in shipping and UPS sent it back without delivery. Great customer service from UPS, saved the hassle of repack and return of damaged unit.

This turned out to be a blessing because after more thought we realized a popper with a cart would be more useful, and a black color would better match the decor.

i bought this popcorn popper for my sister for christmas. she sometimes goes to the movies just for the popcorn. she loves this popper. she says it makes popcorn taste just like the movie popcorn and she makes it every night while she and her husband watch a movie on the TV or dvd. i was there for a few days after christmas and i also enjoyed the delicious popcorn as well. it heats up fast and pops in a professional way (i have a large genuine professional movie popcorn popper and this smaller unit compares favorably). it made a hit in my sisters home and i am very pleased with it.

2. Good popper, not great.
I bought this very last minute, wanting a popcorn machine for the house before my son's birthday. I wanted a few other models first, but this was the only one available with Amazon Prime at the time. My specifications were black and an 8 oz kettle.

First, the shipment was way fast and the popper was boxed and shipped very carefully. I paid the $3.99 extra to have it shipped overnight (I still don't know how Amazon can afford to do that on such a large item). And it did arrive 1 day late, but still on time for the party.

Secondly, the kettle is not as advertised, an 8 oz kettle. More like a 6 oz kettle. I have a professional popcorn machine at work that I checked the size of it's kettle, and that's why I ordered an 8 oz to match it. DOESN'T WORK GOOD!!!
I bought one of these combo Popcorn poppers with cart. (Cart is ok, and is what earns the 1 star) The "Popcorn-Machine" is garbage! I got it on Christmas eve, Hired someone to help me put it together as I'm Handicapped, (Bad Back) We followed the directions and it took only about an Hour and a half to set it all up. I only got 3 bags of mix with it so we saved it for when everyone showed up for Christmas. After opening the gifts, we put one of the new Movies the kids got in the DVD player for them to watch on the 65" Big-screen. I started to pop the popcorn everyone was very impressed with the unit and wanted to watch it pop. We all got the directions out and followed the directions carefully and it started out Great! Came packed just fine, Works great. The heat bulb stopped working in about 3 wks. Bought a Halogen one @ menards to replace it. Let it warm up for about 2-3 min before making your first batch. Virgin coconut oil & most name brand popcorn. Looks Awesome too.

This machine is so cool, and it makes the best popcorn. I was leery about cleanup, but it's simple and quick. One 8 ounce bag makes plenty of popcorn for a family of four. Very few unpopped kernels . Also, the quality of this machine is outstanding. Very sturdy; near commercial grade. For what we use, I see this machine being used in our home for many years to come.

2. Wish I would have upgraded!
I purchased 2 of these for a concession booth.The Paragon TF-8 is a good enough product,however I wish I would have upgraded to the next model. I guess I didn't read the description well enough to discover it doesn't have an "old maid" collector. On the plus side It heats up fast, is easy to clean and looks nice. The price is unbeatable!

After recently purchasing new home theater seating, the next step was to get a home popcorn machine. The kids were excited about getting a popcorn machine and we settled on the 6oz Paramount machine with the matching cart. The machine also comes in a 4oz and 8oz versions, but for only about $30 more than the 4oz machine, we could get make 50% more popcorn with the 6oz machine. You won't regret the cost of spend a little extra money to get the 6oz machine.

The cart and popcorn machine arrive in two separate boxes and the caft requires assembly, but it is so easy! My daughter and I had it together in no time at all. The popcorn machine is then attached to the cart, and then you attach the kettle, screw in the stirrer, plug everything in and you're ready to go!!

After warming up the kettle, simply pour the pre-packaged oil, salt, and popcorn into the kettle and you're poppin'. The aroma it makes smells so good throughout the room! One recommendation: use only...

2. Fantastic Popcorn Maker!
This was a gift for my husband from me and all our kids at Christmas. He absolutely loves it! It is a great looking machine and makes wonderful popcorn. We love the gold rimmed wheels, and the storage compartment in the cart holds all the popcorn supplies perfectly. Easy cleaning was important to us, and this cleans up easily and beautifully every time. We use it at home and over at our church for our Bible Studies and game nights. High quality popper/fantastic price!
I have read and agree with the previous 2 reviews, so will try not to be too redundant. I had purchased another machine (different manufacturer) before this one for nearly the same price but it was flimsy, had broken parts, and the stirring mechanism didn't work in the kettle so I returned it. The Paramount Entertainment machine is far superior in every way and the most important way...it actually works! The machine was easy to assemble and we used popcorn kernals and oil rather than buying the pre-packs, but I have used the pre-packs in school PTA popcorn machine and they are pretty handy and flavorful.

Would highly suggest purchasing the cart to store the supplies in rather than just buying the counter top model. Also, the 6 oz popper is a good size - one batch fed my family of six and only took a few minutes to pop.

Also, the machine was carefully packed in 2 boxes, but we had an issue where the door of the cart had the "popcorn" logo printed upside-down...

Well made, nice fit and finish. Works as advertised, popping a high percentage and easy to clean. A little loud though, so if this is in our near a home theatre you will want the popping done prior to show time.

2. Wonderful popcorn maker for large family
We just love this machine! We buy large containers of Orville Redenbacher popcorn from Costco (but I would think any will do) and use grapeseed oil and our own salt and it makes perfect popcorn! We were concerned about what was in the premade bags, so we came up with a viable substitute. We pour in approximatly 1/6 cup of grapeseed oil, then add 1/2 cup popcorn with about 1/8th teaspoon of salt. We can make one batch after another this way, just waiting for the popper to finish and start another batch. The light and warmer keep the popcorn warm for a long time. This is great for movie and popcorn lovers like us. clean-up is a bit involved, but with a vacuum handy it helps (especially in this family with what happens to the floor when we eat popcorn!) You simply wipe out the popper with a clean cloth, and wipe out the rest with a damp cloth followed by a dry one. It has a tray in the bottom to catch unpopped kernals. Hope this helps and enjoy!

1. Received Damaged
It's just okay...because...I received it damaged, & contacted Amazon, I was told if I kept it, I would be refunded 50%. I have not received the refund, I have sent contact info about this several times with no response to me. I am not a happy customer of Amazon about this and I would appreciate hearing from someone soon. I am keeping the machine, it's dented on the front & looks ugly, but it's too much hassle to pack something that large up & mail back, plus the time & expense. Someone needs to help me!!!!

2. Good popcorn, easy to clean.
I looked at a number of poppers before I chose a different one. However, Amazon wasn't able to get that one shipped, so working with their customer service, I settled on this one. My 8 & 10 year old children helped me put it together. The instructions were disappointing, and not all the pieces lined up properly, but the finished product was secure and looked good.

We started with the Great Northern popcorn packs, and it make "good" popcorn. We experimented with some of our own blends of oil and seasonings, and we made "great" popcorn. The kettle gets messy and requires cleaning every couple of batches. The kettle lid seems to be an older design, where the lid is not attached to the kettle and slides up to the top where a magnet holds it in place. I would have preferred the lids that are attached to the kettle with a hinge. I have had to use some "kettle cleaner" for burned spots, but it does the job quickly. The rest of the popper has cleaned up well with warm...

I bought this popcorn maker about a year ago ( I also bought a cart with mine). I cant tell you how much I love it and everyone who visits me loves it. Well it came really quick and was packaged well and nothing broke or missing. I am not someone who can fix things and could not wait to use and assembled the cart myself instead of waiting for my husband. If I can do it, anyone can. So that is just in case you get the cart which also has a a nice decoration and storage area. Anyway, this thing is easy to clean. I see they sell stuff to clean it but that is not needed at all. Of course, I clean mine after every use so there is no buildup, Just wipe it down with soapy dishwater and then I windex it, done in 5 minutes. Six ounce makes a lot of popcorn. I bought the small square boxes and I fill 7 of those with one popping. So if you want to make smaller batches you can get some 4 oz popcorn packets. However, the popcorn tastes great cold too. I buy megapop corn/oil/salt kit...

This popcorn maker was the best!!! I love this thing! I have always wanted one that would smell the house up like a movie theater and boy this is it. No more micro pop here and the smell of burnt popcorn. This is worth the money!!
Just buy some coconut oil, and a big bag of poping corn and...BAM! MMMMM good. Easy to clean to. I had one of the nostalgis popers and it was junk... save your money and buy this one!!!

We purchased this machine for use in the game room on family movie nights. It arrived quickly using Super Saver shipping and it was well packaged. There were no broken or defective parts and the few items requiring assembly were easily attached.

We have had this popper for 2 months now and we love it! The unit heats up fast and pops the corn very quickly and with little waste. Cleaning is a breeze since you have only to wipe it out with a damp rag. A Tip: Let the oil heat up for 30 seconds before adding the popcorn. we have achieved superior results that way. Another Tip: The oil will make a big difference, some will leave the popcorn feeling a bit stale. Try Popcorn or Coconut oil, they seem to make a big difference.

This stand is sturdy and perfect. We have the 6oz popcorn machine that matches this and it is awesome. I have two very active young children that love to watch the popcorn pop and this stand is just low enough for them to enjoy the show but just tall enough to keep them away from the hot parts of the popcorn machine. I was worried about it being too low for me (I'm 6'), but the machine stands high enough for comfort. Assembly was fairly easy, but took me about 20-30 minutes to complete. I know the stand isn't necessary for the popper to work, but the mobility and nastalgic beauty that this cart provides is well worth the expense.

I spent much of last Sunday afternoon using one of these at a church festival. I would give it five stars except that it doesn't have a heating element in the bottom to keep the popcorn warm (the little heat lamp doesn't really do that).

Compared to the 8oz unit I used last year at another activity, it does not produce THAT much popcorn, but, unlike the 2oz machines, it's plenty for most families, and you can keep refilling it again and again for a big event. Very solid and backed by a real company that makes many of the machines you see in movie theaters, etc.

I'm going to be posting the same review for several listings - because the vendors don't put the model # in their titles, Amazon lists them as separate machines.

2. Awesome Popper
I just received my Popper from the Buynet Seller. It's awesome! They even threw in a free starter pack of popcorn so I was popping popcorn within a few minutes of getting it. Nice and easy to do. Perfect size for my family of 5. It was really nice to watch Grinch and have some fresh popcorn to munch on. I recommend it for the home use.
