This Stand Mixers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. It Would Be Great If It Had No Competition
We have a KitchenAid stand mixer and an ancient, but quite serviceable, Oster food processor. The KitchenAid is an excellent stand mixer for heavy duty jobs. We have acquired a number of optional attachments over the years that make our KitchenAid stand mixer our go-to appliance for many different applications. For lighter duty activities such as simple mixing, we use either our Oster food processor or a hand mixer. I was quite excited to receive a Bodum Bistro electric stand mixer to see how well it compares to our KitchenAid and our Oster.
The Bistro is smaller than our KitchenAid, which initially seemed a benefit. However, the Bistro is so light that it has the possibility of moving during operation, except the Bistro also includes suction cup feet. The suction cup feet could be a drawback if your counters are insufficiently smooth for the suction cups to work. Furthermore, the suction cup feet require force to break the suction when lifting the mixer. Thus,...

The is one of the newest stand mixer on the market. The BODUM Stand mixer 11381 BISTRO Stand mixer is a powerhouse, quality built to last, easy to operate. BODUM is aa well known company that has built high quality commercial appliances for years. This is their first stand mixer for home use. I now own three stand mixers, Kitchen Aid Artisan, Viking/Cusinart and this Bodum. My wife and I own and run a small catering business and know first hand how each operates.
It takes the best qualites of the top selling stand mixers and combines them to make the BODUM Bistro Electric Stand Mixer, 4.7-Liter. It borrows the ease of use, variety of colors and high standards of quality from Kitchen Aid. It borrows the new style, powerful motor from Viking/Cuisinart. This makes the best home stand mixer on the market. It runs quieter than the others with less vibration. It also has suction cups to help keep it even more stable. The 700-watt, 7 speed mixer with tilt-up head. Material is made...

Wonderful Mixer and Easy To Clean
I was thrilled to get this mixer to replace an old Sunbeam stand that I've has for years. I didn't use it much because it was a real pain to store and to use.
This product has a lot going for it once you get past the nauseating smell of whatever it is they packed it in. PEEEEEUUUUU! Once that dissapates and you get close enough to the box to unpack it you are good to go.
On the plus side this mixer is very heavy. The entire thing is a closed unit, which makes it so easy to clean. I just used it to make a key lime pie. I am a really messy cook, and in separating my eggs I had it everywhere. Even under the bowl. The area under the bowl is completely sealed in and once the bowl is removed it is an easy clean up. The included splash guard is a nice feature as well because it elimates the splatter and mess that can occur at high speed mixing.
I was impressed with the fact that the suction feet actually hold to my granite counters and when I was whipping at...
