This Water Coolers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. This left a bad taste - in more ways than one!
I purchased this water dispenser for my office after the old one quit working. Having read quite a few reviews, I felt comfortable that I was getting a good product.
Once set up and filled with water, we discovered that the water it dispensed had a horrible chemical taste and smell. I immediately called Avanti, who told me they do not warranty the taste of the water dispensed, only the unit itself, and was given a lengthy process to try to flush the unit out and get rid of the bad taste. It involved dumping in bleach and much rinsing - and took quite a while. At the end, the water still tasted just as bad. Since Avanti customer service had these rinsing directions at hand to give when I called, I must assume they are aware of the problem with the dispensers and probably field these type of complaints frequently.
Since we were unable to return the unit, I continued flushing water through it hoping to lessen the bad taste. Finally I poured in white vinegar and some...
2. Very good for the $$$
While I have only been using the dispenser for about a month now, I feel confident I chose the right one! The reservoir is large and even when your wattle bottle gets really low, there is still another full glass of water left in the reservoir. The hot/cold switches feel strong and durable and the whole unit feels solid. I'd recommend this one

Terrible
Have only had it for about 2 weeks and the unit is not cooling the water. The water also tastes funny even though all setup instructions were follwed thru.
