1. Only one complaint!!!!
This is a really good fryer with just one exception: you have to manually lift the basket out of the oil and hold it to put items for frying in the basket. Would be so much safer if there was a lever of some sort that when you open the lid, the basket would raise out of the oil automatically. Our last t-fal fryer lifted the basket out of the oil automatically when lifting the handle - a very nice feature. They should have carried that feature over to this fryer as well.

2. Second Purchase of this Tfal Fryer.
Have used my first Tfal fryer for years now and still in good working order but decided after such a long time we needed another.The new purchase is almost identical to the first model purchased and hopefully, it will continue to serve us as long as the other. I recommend it highly and have no complaints at all. No oily foods when using this fryer and we use it frequently. Another great point, delivery on second day after purchasing, didn't expect such quick delivery and always happy with everything from Amazon.

If only the lid didn't pop open spontaneously
This is a great product. Compact, with a large enough basket to cook fries for everyone. The bottom screen keeps the old clean for a longer period. My only complaint is that the lid pops open spontaneously; not all the time, but enough so that I have to be aware. My wife is paranoid about these things, so this doesn't help. Having the magnetic head on the electrical plug does. Overall, a very good value.

I really was pleased with my turkey fryer! I read several reviews and was hesitant on purchasing this item. I wanted fried turkey for Easter. It was delicious!! There was no leftovers! The fryer heated up in 30 minutes and turkey fitted in the basket perfectly!

I like it. But wish it could do more pieces of meat at once and that when i use flour it wouldn't leave some unaffected areas; cooks the meat but leaves flour as it originally was.

1. Great fryer
My husband wanted two fryer baskets and a lid-and enough power to maintain frying temperature. He decided on the Presto and he couldn't be more pleased. I asked him if we were opening a food stand the first time he used it, but he was finished frying in half the time and it was an easy clean-up. So it's worth every inch of storage space. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to fry up a batch of fish, followed by french fries, and fried okra. It does the job.

2. Large fryer good for price
I have used the fryer about 6 times so far. The oil does heat up to 375 it generally doesnt take too long. I mostly use it for chicken wings and fries. The fries and wings come out crispy and not too oily. The oil heats back up pretty quickly in between batches. I have used fresh and frozen wings and found both to cook well. Generally the oil doesnt splatter too much. The house will smell like peanut oil for a day or so. Be prepared.
Clean up is pretty easy. I do wish there was an easier way to drain the oil but it is not too much of a problem to pour it out, just make sure the oil is cooled first : )
I had done allot of research on the deep fryers and still couldn't decide. I saw this one at Kohls and said screw it, it's got two baskets, 1800 watts and has a large resevoir like I want! I'm happy with my purchase. I'd recommend this product.

This fryer is so well made and perfect for large gatherings. Typically, two or three people spend all their time frying instead enjoying their guests. The Bayou Classic allowed us to fry fish, meat, potatoes, onions and hush puppies for a very large crowd in an hour and half. Easy to use and maintain. Customer service is TOP NOTCH! I was so impressed when we called and did NOT hear a recording. The guys were answers all our questions and were very helpful. I have looked at fryers for quite some time; doing a little research to get the best bang for the buck! THIS IS IT! :-)

1. Very pleased with this product!!!
We ordered this a few weeks ago, so far we have tried potatoes fries, pizza, roasted chicken and we roasted some almonds as well. Everything came out excellent. This oven is indeed a multifunction appliance. It first is a convection oven similar to a Rotisserie oven, but with a turntable rack. So you are not limited to roasted chicken and ribs but can put smaller pieces on the turntable. The second function is to replace the turntable with a food tumbler or paddle, it then turns into an automatic stir fryer. We made some fries from fresh potato. Needless to say the fries are much less greasy with only one spoon of oil, but we are thrilled to see this actually works. It means this cooker can take the tedious labor work out of cooking.

With everything we have cooked in this turbofry oven so far well done, we are very pleased with this product.

Roasted chicken is second to none. The first chicken we cooked is perfect, golden crispy skin bottom and up, and juicy...

2. Amazing Oven
Bought this a few weeks ago, so far everything we cooked in this oven turned out to be AMAZING!! Chicken is always cooked to perfection, the skin is crispy and inside is juicy, I am thinking of taking a picture to show you guys. There is a lot of oil drip to the bottom. You do not have to flip it half way during the cooking, the bottom of the chicken is browned as well. We have tried pizza, freshly cut potato fries, they all turned out delicious. Really in love this oven.

False Advertising!
Since we had the other oven from Secura the 997 and liked it we thought we would try this one--since it was the "latest, greatest" from the company. A big mistake! This one comes with more gadgets and about the only advantage to this over the all digital 997 is that it has a turntable to rotate food. Supposedly it can fry foods as well.

But that is it...everything else is worse about this than the all digital model that is $30 less. First of all it uses more electricity 1550W vs. 1350 for the halogen cooking oven. It also takes longer to cook than the old oven. Some "genius" in the engineering dept. at Secura decided to make 482 degrees the maximum temp for the oven--I think he is now working on making 61MPH speed limits on some highway or clocks that go up to 11:37PM. Nonetheless, the old unit tops out at a very normal 500 degrees. Additionally, this unit never gets up to the 482 degrees promised. When I used my cooking thermometer it topped out at 350 degrees...

1. Great Fryer
Used this to fry a bunch of fish, oysters, shrimp, and homemade fries. The capacity is great and the ability to maintain temperatures makes frying fast. I finished the food so quickly, the rest of the meal was not ready. Although some have criticized the magnetic cord, I had no problems. The lift out element and oil pan made cleanup a breeze. My peanut oil was in god condition for reuse. I did use the fryer on my screened porch so I cannot say whether the house would have smelled of frying if I had used it inside. It is large but is not very heavy so setting it up on the porch was easy.

2. Best Fryer I ever owned
This fryer was easy to set up. I had no problem with the cord. I fried chicken it the fryer and it came out real good. It was easy to clean up when I was finished with it. I had no problem in draining my oil into a strainer reuses.
