This Super-Automatic Espresso Machines give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great coffee
The coffee maker is great. We tried it with premium coffee and with really cheap coffee. It made the cheap coffee taste better than expected but the premium coffee was a pleasure to sip. Not so happy with the grinder that was included. It clogs up and you have to take it apart and clean it.
The Moccamaster brews the best coffee I had in a long time.

2. Amazing coffee, simpler than it looks
I've come to love this thing in the week I've had it. I even like its retro, purely functional look now. The coffee (if you follow their directions) is amazing, and the system is easy and fast as hell (10 cups ready in 6 mins). If you get the full package with the grinder and cleaning solutions that I did, it's even almost worth the money compared to Krups, Capresso, Kitchenaid, etc. Oh, it's also not only fast, but silent.

Loved it
Great price, everything arrived on time and works very well. The Mochamaster definitely makes a delicious coffee. I purchased this after the reviews on America's Test Kitchen.

1. Maintenance Free - Perfect every time!
I have had this machine for 3 years now and it has always worked flawlessly. The ventilate issue that people reference above has never been an issue for my machine...it has asked to be ventilated twice (each time after a cleaning) and each time I just open the steam valve and its done. I have never had a more effortless, maintenance-free espresso machine and I've owned many. This is simply an awesome machine that I can't live without! We've made 2,700 espresso shots virtually maintenance free, so its more than paid for itself. Highly recommended!

2. I couldn't ask for more.. 5 1/2 years later & 11,491 cups of perfect coffee todate
I have had this machine 18 + months without a single glitch.. I have had to decalcify it twice in that time. The last time I decalcified it I did not replace the water tank completely and it asked to ventilate it, I then noticed my error, seated the water tank, ventilated it and once again perfect coffee... (According to the machine it has made 2862 cups) Update: Coming up on 3yrs, now according to machine 5810 cups and still making perfect coffee.. Also after reading other reviews, I have never used the hand pump to ventilate the machine, I just open the hot water/steam valve per owners manual to ventilate the system.
June 2012. Update 9810 cups & still making perfect coffee. It has more than paid for itself. (it is getting a little grubby inside, but I can live with that.)
June 2013: Update 11,431 cups & still making perfect coffee. Decalicified it again about a month ago. Just changed the water filter and cleaned it, Lets see if I bought them at Starbucks at $3 a cup =...

beautiful looks and great coffee but very poor reliability
I have owned 4 espresso machines before this one, 2 manual (De Longhi), and 1 fully automatic (Saeco Odea Go). So I have a pretty good idea about what a good espresso should look like and what an espresso machine can or cannot do.

I got this Incanto Deluxe as a replacement for the Odea Go that died a sad death after 18 months of service (that's another review). On the positive side, the Incanto looks great, is very versatile and fully customizable. One can program almost anything from the temperature of the coffee, to the amount of coffee ground and the amount of water to be put through the ground coffee. The enclosure of the machine is metal (very rare nowadays when cheap plastic is ubiquitous) and the whole machine looks very high quality (unlike the Magnifica for instance which looks very plasticky) The features that convinced me to go for this machine also include: i) the ability to set the water hardness, ii) the automatic descaling cycle (the Odea Go descaling is a...

This Super-Automatic Espresso Machines give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great Machine!
I am surprised that I am the first reviewer of this great machine. I just received mine yesterday. I bought it from another vender, but since I typically do most of my shopping via Amazon I thought I would share my experience thus far. Overall, this Super-Automatic is simple to use and makes great coffee, lattes, and cappuccino's. My advice though....WATCH THE DVD BEFORE USING!!! I thought I had this thing in the bag.. how difficult could it be to use??....Well it isn't difficult to use, but there are a few things I did that had I watched the video all the way through I would not have done. For example, when setting how fine or coarse you want the beans you have to adjust the dial one notch at a time while the grinder is running (still doesn't make sense to me). I paused the video before waiting for the lady to finish talking on the topic and just moved it a few notches towards fine...oops! Oh well, doesn't seem to have adversely effected anything, but now I know. Contrary...

2. Good and not so good
The Good - This espresso machine is very easy to use but can be intimidating at first. My husband and I use it several times a day and we have had no problems with it since we bought it at least 6 months ago.
The Bad - It doesn't make a hot cup of coffee. It makes a warm cup of coffee. I take coffee with me to work every day in a travel cup and by the time I get to work (15 minutes) I have to heat it in the microwave because it is cold. My last cheap espresso maker would make a cup of coffee so hot that I could savor it for an hour. Very frustrating to me.

Great and few problems
My wife and I have been making 6-8 cups a day for 6 months. We only ever make cappuccino and the 'fire and forget' button is priceless. The froth is good albeit with slightly larger bubbles than from conventional froth. We always place the milk container in the fridge and so far we have had no problems with the seal. And, the milk container can be purchased separately at a reasonable price (so my wife says).

One slight niggle we have had lately is that sometimes the door opens during the coffee making process. I have cleaned several times but to no avail. And it is difficult to find out what is pushing on the door from the inside (it is closed :-). But I guess we eventually will figure it out.

Some reviewers have complained about the coffee being too cold. I currently live in Australia and previously lived 6 years in Italy where they serve the genuine cappuccino. Outside Italy I have often had the opposite problem, where inexperienced barista's make the coffee...

This Super-Automatic Espresso Machines give to us some advantages, like this :
1. A little bit of Switzerland
I lived in Switzerland for four years and while there my standards for coffee changed quite dramatically. Hence on my return to the US my first purchase was this machine. While I was living in Switzerland I went through two Nespresso machines which were a pain in the patootie to keep descaled and operational. Both were hosed by the time I left. I was impressed with the Jura machines owned by Swiss friends and neighbors. I have had this machine for 8 months now and have never regretted my decision to purchase it. It is smart enough to tell you when it needs cleaning and the instructions (unlike the Nespresso machinges I have owned) were very clear. Cleaning is automated and a snap to accomplish. Just initiate the program and it will be through by the time you finish doing the breakfast dishes. The one downside is that it is quite large so you will have to devote quite a bit of counter space to it and if you are big coffee drinkers you will also have to fill the rather small water...

2. Great coffee, some flaws with the machine
I've had the jura for 4 months now and previously owned a gaggia automatic expresso machine and have made over 200 lattes so far with the jura. I love the small size of the jura, the coffee is great once you adjust it to suit your tastes. i like the fact that everything is automated and being warned stops me running out of water half way through an expresso like i did with the gaggia. it is easy to clean and is a great machine.

There are two flaws which is why I'm giving this 3 stars. Firstly the milk frothing wand comes lose and when it does sprays milk and stream over nearby surfaces and you. At first this happened rarely and i put it down to me not having the wand seated securely, however after 4 months of making lattes i check before every coffee and the wand will no longer stay on long enough to do enough milk for one latte. this is very annoying and potentially dangerous as steam and hot milk tend to go over your hand. The second problem is the water tank, it is...

Outstanding Espresso / Great Size & Design
After weeks of research we ended up selecting the Jura-Capresso ENA 4.

I was a bit skeptical that this small little super automatic could really replace our larger manual and brew quality espresso. I went to a local retailer and was fortunate enough to be able to use a demo unit. I was amazed by how simple and intuitive the ENA 4 is to use; while at the same time provides a level of flexibility and control well beyond my expectations.

The Jura-Capresso site has some great video demos as well as other info that is worth checking out.
[...]

If you're looking for a super automatic, I highly recommend you take a look at the ENA. Our unit has exceeded our expectations. Great espresso and lattes!

  • Automatic coffee and espresso center with 18-bar pump
  • 1450-watt thermoblock heating system; 2-step pre-infusion cycle
  • 6 beverage buttons; 11 programming options; LCD display
  • Removable water tank; 6-setting conical burr grinder; 2 frother systems
  • Measures 16-1/2 by 11 by 13-1/4 inches; 1-year limited warranty

This Super-Automatic Espresso Machines give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Not so impressed with the Impressa
I have had 3 cappuccino makers prior to the Jura J5 and have always wanted to own the Impressa J5. Well, this year I went out and got one and, as far as I'm concerned, that was my biggest mistake. It makes a good espresso, that I must say; and I love the cleaning process, but the milk steamer/frother system is definitely a design flaw. The second time I used the dual frother, the wand blew off and sprayed me with steam and milk. I called customer service and they told me that the frother needs to be properly cleaned (taking the frother nozzle off to clean it) and soaked in the cleaning solution each day after it is used. Well, I have been cleaning, soaking and rinsing that frother for several months now and it still blows off intermittently when I steam coffee, blowing milk and steam everywhere. I went to a local distributor and asked them about it and they told me that they have the same problem. Surely there has to be a better frother system for such a nice cappuccino maker?

2. It is a Good Machine
I had a Capresso C1500 for about 6 years. It started leaking and making weak coffee. So, I got the J5 as an upgrade/replacement. I have now own the J5 for about 2 months. It is definitely an improvement over the C1500.

Pros
- It makes really hot beverages
- Two types of frothing method: 1. Traditional way; 2. FrothXpress way
- Programmable everything (e.g. water temp, strength of coffee, amount of water..etc)
- Self-rinsing before startup and before shutdown.
- Convenience.

Cons
- Cheap Plastic Shell (Especially for a machine costing $1800!!)
- Extracting the espresso too fast. (But this is with all Super-autos)
- Does not have a traditional steam wand. (the wand came with it is not really a traditional one you find with other machines)
- Cleaning the wand properly after use. (You really have to soak it and make sure the little holes on the wand are clean. Or else it will not steam properly)

Phenomenal value in an elegant machine
Where to begin? This machine can do it all, from a strong shot of espresso to a flawless cappuccino, all in under minute. If you can tie your shoes, you can use one of these machines.

I looked in to this machine after using an older Capresso model at a friend's house. I was always impressed by how easily and quickly he could make a variety of drinks for guests, not to mention the quality of their appearance and flavor.

This machine comes with two different frothing systems, one is a more traditional bullet style frother, while the other can automatically steam or froth milk. This is where the J5 really shines. In no time you can froth yourself milk that would make the most seasoned barista jealous, and then push a single button to instantly brew piping hot coffee.

The machine starts with whole beans of your choosing and grinds them just for the drink you are making. This ensures that you'll get the freshest tasting coffee cup after cup.

This Super-Automatic Espresso Machines give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Easy to use, great coffee and espresso
Due to the high price I checked many reviews on many sites and most brands had specific problems or limitations. The Jura was consistently rated highly with few problems. When spending $1500+ I didn't want a machine that was going to break down after a few months. I have now had this machine for about 6 months and have had no problems except a minor one explained below.

First the good

Very easy set up. I was up and going in about 30 minutes after opening the box and making sure all the parts and pieces were included.

The machine is pretty idiot proof. It tells you when to add water, when to add coffee beans, when to run the cleaning cycle, when to decalcify, and when to dispose the used grounds. The burr grinder is fairly quiet and has run without clogging. You do have to be careful not to use beans that are too oily but if they are all you have to do is let them sit for about 5 hours before using. The water capacity is very adequate at 70 oz. The bean...

2. I've used this machine for a year and Love It!
I love the Jura Impressa J6 and have been using it at least twice a day for almost a year.

Pros:
Pulls the Perfect Espresso!
Makes a Great Latte
Brews Good coffee
Everything is frothy
Automatic Cleaning Cycles
Easy to remove drip/grounds tray
Stylish Looks

Cons:
Not for causal coffee drinkers
Outside gets dirty fast
Doesn't brew very hot coffee
Can't take Oily Beans
Automatic Cleaning Cycles
Needs filters and cleaning tablets
Coffee is only "good"
Lots of rules to follow

Again, I love this machine. It's made me an espresso snob and instead of helping me cut back on Starbucks, I drink more coffee all the time. In my opinion, the Jura Impressa J6 brews the perfect espresso, every time. If that's what you've been searching for, buy this machine now without giving it a second thought. If you're primarily a coffee drinker, think twice. If you've never ground your own beans and...

Great machine. One year later still love it.
This machine replaced a Spidem Divina. Although the Divina made good coffee, it was very temperamental and required numerous calls for on the phone repair. Finally, we just gave up. The Jura was twice the price and well worth it. We have not had one problem and love the coffee. I whole heartedly recommend this machine, you won't be sorry. We purchased from a brick and mortar Sur La Table store. They said if there is ever any problem, just return and they would replace if they were unable to diagnose the problem. But, as I said, not one issue.
