  • Stainless-steel blade for chopping; two discs for slicing and shredding
  • Plastic blade kneads 2 pounds of dough in less than 2 minutes
  • Pulse button; large feed tube with pushers
  • Dishwasher-safe parts; full 5-year warranty on motor

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Paddle Switch Rules!
I use my Cuisinart primarily for chopping veggies or making my own ground beef. I can use more flavorful cuts than the leftover bits usually made into ground beef and control the texture to my preference.

The Cuisinart 7 Cup performs great for my needs. It's both powerful and very quiet. Cheap proccessors with side mounted, belt driven motors are usually so noisy that you don't want to bother with them.

Others may disagree, but I find Cuisinart's safety interlocks only a minor hassle. The small center feed tube isn't interlocked and is useful for adding ingredients while processing.

I looked at other food processors in stores before I bought the Cuisinart, and found I prefer the ergonomic feel and control of the old-fashioned Cuisinart paddle switch. Whether it be the new Cuisinarts or KitchenAids, I don't like to have to search around for the little sealed-dome lumps on modern control panels. The first time you use the Cuisinart up-for-on /...

2. Best food processor I've ever had
I always check Consumer Reports before I buy anything and they gave this machine it's top rating. After using it for a while, I have to agree. It performs very well and the wide opening lets me chop large pieces of vegtables without having to chop them up thin in order to get them into the chute. I can't recommend this processor highly enough.

Safety features are NOT a problem
There are two reviews on this site as well as some on others claiming that the safety features on this model are a problem and/or that the feeder pusher can't be removed without removing the entire top. My conclusion is that these people must not have read the instructions, which I feel are clear as to how to remove the dual-pusher (which is the notable feature of this model vs. the DLC-5). I'm having no problems at all and think this is a great product. The large dual-pusher feeding tube is a very useful feature.

KitchenAid KFP7I5 7-Cup Food Processor, White

Cheapest KitchenAid KFP7I5 7-Cup Food Processor, White
==================================================================

This powerful and hardworking food processor from KitchenAid takes the pain out of food prep. It features a full-size feed tube and multiple blades, including a stainless steel multipurpose blade that blends, chops, minces and emulsifies quickly and easily.
  • Food processor with powerful induction motor and 7-cup work bowl
  • Full-size feed tube and pusher; on/off and pulse control
  • Multipurpose stainless-steel blade; reversible slicing/shredding disc
  • Clean Touch control pad; spatula/cleaning tool included; dishwasher-safe parts
  • Measures approximately 9 by 7-2/7 by 14-2/7 inches; 1-year limited warranty

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. worth it
I purchased this about four months ago after another food processor died. My major qualm is the space a food processor can take up, since i have limited space in my kitchen. I liked the fact that the bowl is on top of the motor instead of to the side, which to me means that it takes up less counter space. I also like the fact that- like many of their products- there is a smooth surface where the operating buttons are, which means this can easily be wiped clean.
This is able to handle most of what I throw at it. I only cook for two, so I don't really need a mega capacity one. It comes with the basic blades I need with the grating and slicing, as well as the chopping blade. I had a huge zucchini in the garden- i have memories from when I was a child grating mountains of zucchini with a box grater for my mom and killing my knuckles. This made short work of the zucchini in about thirty seconds.

My gripes. Like most food processors the space on top of the disc blade where...

2. Quality Appliance, But Flimsy Handle On Work Bowl
Just got mine in the mail! One thing you must know before buying this appliance is that it weighs about 15 pounds or so- heavy. This makes it difficult to store away when not in use. No problem if you have lots of counter space, but I prefer my small counter to be free of appliances. I wasn't prepared for it- my old one weighed only about 5 lbs and I could easily whip it out when I needed it.
That being said, it looks great on the counter. It is a nicely designed product, inside and out. Easy to clean, not too big or too small.

7/14/09 UPDATE: I am still in love with this appliance! I use it all the time.

12/10/10 UPDATE: The bowl handle broke and now I am replacing it for $30. I've been dangerously rigging it with a chopstick for several months and now I can't even do that. The handle just won't hold up. This work bowl needs major design improvement!

good item
KitchenAid 7-Cup Food Processor - White
I'm happy with this compact item; it compares well with the Cuisinart and takes up less space.
It chops and purees well, and the size of the chopped pieces can be controlled by the pulse button. The model with the small cup included might have been useful but the sale price on this item dissuaded me from buying that one. Have not yet used any liquids in it so can't comment on that. Caveat: the blades are really sharp- use caution.

NEW ROBOT COUPE 3/4 HP COMBINATION FOOD PROCESSOR R100 R101

Combination Food Processor, 2.5 qt. gray polycarbonate bowl, stainless steel "S" blade, vegetable prep attachment with internal ejection, 27577 5/64" (2mm) grating disc and 27566 5/32" (4mm) sliding disc included, single speed, 1725 RPM, 120v/60/1-ph, 7 amps, 3/4 HP, NEMA 5-15P , ETL electrical and sanitation, cETL

  • Power: HP: 3/4 (Single Phase)
  • 1 Speed: 1725 rpm
  • Dimensions: 19" x 8 11/16" x 11"
  • Options available by E-mail

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. waste of money & very underpowered
I use this R100 at work and it is underpowered and lacks options. The work bowl is too small for bigger jobs. The grey bowls are inferior to clear bowls. I purchased a 14 cup (3.5 quart) Cuisinart at home and it works much better, stronger motor, includes more options, and has a much better bowl capcity by a full quart. The price difference is very substantial; even without consideration of price, the Cuisinart is far superior.

That being said, I use the RobotCoupe R2 and an R3 at other work places and they are very powerful and xuperior to the Cuisinart; but their cost is prohibitive unless you can business justify them. That being said, Robotcoupe has some great (and expensive) options for the R2 that MAY fit the R100, but it will still will be underpowered.

Don't waste your money on the R100.

2. the greatest buy yet!
Absolutely awesome!
I've been using it for over 2 years, did not buy any additional disks, it come with 3 and that's plenty good, but you can buy some really neat ones if you are into parties.
Make sure you choose a clear bowl as it fills up fast.
I grate mushrooms, zucchinis, apples, and many other veggies.
I was considering Kitchen Aid, but it looked flimsy, just as expensive and who needs 12 speeds and 12 discs?
I'm glad that R100 is being offered through Amazon.
You won't be sorry for buying it.

1. Older USA Model
I have an older (very) USA model. It is GREAT. I hope it never gives out. Workhorse.
Only one thing, blender is small. But, use larger side and works just as well. FOR EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE...

Too bad no longer manufactures for USA.

2. heaven, its like heaven
i have had all the food processer there is and only the braun food processor has been able to fill all my needs as a cook i grate lots of freah coconut for my cakes and then i grate lots of very hard cheeses. i could name many that don't get past the first or maybe second coconut much less all the cheeses. i live in venezuela so the current is ok for our country. i can't say enough good things. and now we can't get them any more here in venezuela, so it's import time again. 5 star is not enough.

Love my Braun
I also have a very old Braun (5-in-1 kitchen center), and I have been able to get replacement parts as needed...I broke the bowl once, and also needed a new "ice crushing" blade. If the motor gives out, I may be out of luck. Here's hoping Braun will figure out how to make this fantastic product for US use again.

This model features a 9-cup work bowl and KitchenAid's exclusive 4-cup mini bowl for smaller chopping tasks. • Base wipes clean easily; dishwasher-safe bowls, blades, and discs
  • Measures 10-1/2 by 14-1/2 by 8-9/32 inches; 1-year replacement warranty

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Excellent processor for the money
Boy, am I glad I bought this processor. It is well designed and well made. You definitely get what you pay for.

The base unit is big (10" x 8" x 6" high) and heavy. But it is amazingly quiet. It has large rubber feet which prevent the unit from moving or vibrating on the counter. The motor has enough torque to mix or rip through anything dropped in it.

The work bowl is wider than the previous 9 cup model (7") which makes it very easy to work inside and remove the contents. Another nice touch is the bowl cover which fits over both the inside and outside rim of the work bowl to prevent spillage. The large food pusher is also a measuring cup. Many of the 12 cup accessories fit this processor, too.

The mini bowl accessory is useful because it easily drops into the large work bowl and then quickly chops small amounts of ingredients. The processor comes with the mini bowl & blade, dough blade, 2 mm slicing disk, 4 mm shredding disk and spatula. The booklet...

2. Had for a year now - replacing!
Great quality product, but has a major design flaw also mentioned by previous reviewers. It is bothering me so much that I am going to get another make of processor.
When the blade and bowl are assembled, the inside lip (under the blade cover) is not high enough. Therefore everything you process (even small amounts) is squeezed up and under the lip and under the blade threads by the centrifugal force.
This needs intensive cleaning as I have discovered - I use mine for many things but mainly meat for meatballs - and cleaning out the raw meat to prevent future contamination is a nightmare. I have to use a toothpick. If you leave it it will rot and be a safety concern, as it will mix in whatever you process next. As I don't wish to spend such time cleaning due to a design flaw, or worse, causing food poisoning to friends and family - I am going to order a new processor. This should be top spec - love how it runs, but is a liability.

Elegant, huge time saver and fun to use, only paid $110.oo
Had mine for a week. Already made salsa twice, tabulee, apple crisp. Saves tons of time. Looks great on the counter so it's convenient to use. The 2 MM slicing disk is very thin. eg think fingernail thin. But the apple crisp tasted good that way actually. Parsly for tabulee works great if you shove/pack it in the food chute and put in the slicing blade. It chops it actually in just the right sizes. When I used the chopping/all purpose blade this didn't work without making it more of a green goo. The slicing blade is great for parsley. I used the allpurpose/choping blade for the tomatoes and onions and works great. The 4 cup work bowl is very convenient and the 9 cup bowl stays clean. minibowl can't use the slicing/shredding discs. This machine is quiet, quality, top notch at whatever it does. Read directions carefully. It's not a blender, eg. if very thin batter, only fill 1/3 to 1/2, if liquid only fill to line which is probably only a cup or less, if thicker batter,...

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Unhappy with customer service
The food processor worked well, but the lid cracked after less than 6 months. I have tried to write to the customer service department listed on the DeLongi website 3 times, but they don't even respond. Very disappointed.

2. Gets the job done
I primarily use this as a blender. I make myself protein smoothies for breakfast 5 out of 7 days a week. I tend to use frozen fruit instead of ice and the smoothies come out so thick and creamy (actually they almost double in size). As far as the food processor, I have made pasta sauce (marinara and pesto) and salsa verde. The food processor worked very well to get smooth texture that I desired.

Mom loves this so much. She uses it all the time. It has so many different attachments for different things its like having several different mixers in one.

Used it to mince one onion. After tying to proceed to mince some garlic, it won't start. The light comes on when you press low or high, but it won't spin. Very disappointed with KitchenAid on this one.

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Review of Waring WFP14S - A Step Up from Consumer Grade
I am not a professional cook however I purchased this commercial grade processor as a replacement for my old consumer grade Quisinart processor. The unit I received came with an adjustable slicing blade, shredder, reversible grater, whipper, and s-blade. The WFP 14S is extremely well built, very quite, and has a small foot print. The attachment blades are heavy duty and very sharp. My primary use is mixing pasta dough and slicing vegetables. The base is easy to clean because it has few complex surfaces to trap food. The bowl and lid are heavy duty poly carbonate and will not break easily. The bowl cannot be removed without unlocking the lid because of the safety interlock mechanism. Once the bowl is removed, the lid can be re-locked and liquids can be poured out through the feed tube without leaks because the s-blade and lid are gasket sealed (nice for pancake batter). This is a single, low speed unit and I am not sure how finely it will puree things like chick peas for...

2. commercial food processor
This food processor is great. I would like it better if it had a shorter blade for coarser chopping but other than that, Im quite happy with it.

Hamilton Beach 70570 Big Mouth 14-Cup Food Processor

Buy Hamilton Beach 70570 Big Mouth 14-Cup Food Processor
==================================================================

Hamilton Beach Food Processors rely on robust motors to chop, slice, shred, mix and puree just about anything you put in the bowl. Fast and easy to use, these versatile food processors incorporate smart ideas—especially Big Mouth models, with their extra-large feed tubes for slicing whole fruits and vegetables. In-bowl blade storage and dishwasher-safe parts make these food processors easy to clean and store and some models offer special conveniences like reversible slicing and shredding discs...
  • Lid flips over for compact storage to save cabinet space
  • Chop onions, mix sauces, grate cheese, shred cabbage, prepare pesto or slice salad ingredients in seconds
  • Lets you process large batches, but just as easily, chop a few nuts
  • Powerful 500 Watts
  • Large feed tube fits a whole block of cheese

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Didn't Last a Year
I received this food processor for Christmas last year. It didn't even last a year as it developed a six inch crack which leaked liquids all over the countertop. I didn't abuse it in any way to cause this. Before that I loved it for food processing, but have to agree with the other reviewer that it pureed the onions into mush. Yes, I thought it was something I was doing wrong also, but I chopped onions by hand afterward. Hamilton Beach does not offer a replacement bowl. This product is less expensive than it's competitors, but do you want to buy a new one every year?

2. smelly food puree-er
I have had this for 3 months. I was excited to receive it, always wanting one but never getting around to it. It's first task was to chop onions...lots of them. It pureed them (not chop) instantly and smelled hot while doing it. I chalked that up to it being new and me inexperienced. So the next time I chopped the onions into smaller bits first and that worked better, but not great. It shreds cheese pretty well but there ends up being pureed cheese gunk in the lid (a lot of it). Still better than doing it by hand so even though I curse this thing every time I use it, I keep trying. Today I used it to chop up dried bread for bread crumbs. It's motor was inconsistent and I thought it was going to die and as usual, it smelled hot. I expect that since I've been using it fairly regularly for the last 3 months that it should not smell hot every time I use it. I plan to send it back.

  • Stainless steel s-blade and reversible slice/shred disc stays sharp and cuts quickly
  • Powerful 500 Watt Motor
  • Convenient power cord storage compartment. stainless steel housing

This Food Processors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. By far, the best I've ever owned.
I really like this food processor, so much in fact, that when my husband broke it, I got another one. He stuck a butter knife in it and bent the middle pole. I really like the automatic off feature. As soon as I turn the lid, it shuts off instantly. Awesome product!!

2. Base is great, plastic is cheap.
This food processor has plenty of power and is easy to use. The problem is the cheap plastic lid and bowl. I dropped the plunger portion once and the edge broke off. A few months later the lid fell of the counter and shattered into three or four pieces, rendering the entire thing useless. I'm trying to find a replacement lid, which is proving more difficult than it should.

Great Efficiency
I use this to make ragù, so I cut the celery carrots and onion into reasonable sized pieces, then add to the processor and in only second, it's the perfect consistency for meat based sauce.

I've found the machine to be sturdy and durable and very efficient.

This saves me time and space and I'm extremely satisfied with its performance.
