This coffee pot works great for me. It brews a good, hot cup of coffee. It brews faster than my old one did. I absolutly LOVE the color. The only downside is that the lettering on it under the buttons is very hard to see. I need a light right on it to see the words, but theres only 4 buttons so you just have to remember which ones say what. I would definately buy it again.

2. Great Coffee, Overpriced Looks
It makes a great cup of coffee, though it is a very, very simple coffee maker. The carafe stains easily so rinsing and a quick wipe to remove the coffee residue is necessary each time it is used. The unit is quite tall so we lift it out to set it up then move it back under the cabinets once it's set up to brew. The reservoir design makes it easy to see how much water you have filled through the narrow-ish opening. There is only one setting for the carafe temperature; personally I'd like it to be a little warmer, though it's a minor complaint. The coffee tastes great and it's hot. We had to replace the filter basket as the spring assembly for the stop-brew popped free within 2 months of using it. This model was more expensive than similar models, the difference being the red color.
If I had it to do over again I'd re-purchase the Cuisinart which I had previously. Didn't look as nice, cost as much and had more features - plus it made great coffee.

Worth The Money
Been through many coffee makers that have broken quickly. This one is worth the money. And I love the color.
