This Rice Cookers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Outstanding Rice Cooker better than any Zojirushi
I don't know what the other reviewer was doing wrong but my oatmeal came outstanding and the brown rice come out equally well. A very easy to use rice cooker with many advanced features that the Zojirushi does not have. I paid $180 dollar Zojiushi that played Mozart when the rice was done and died shortly after one year(along with a Zojirushi bread maker); I think I will stick with Panasonic which are more dependable especially having using them for the last 20 years with no problem, just great rice

2. Work as expected, reasonable price
This model does not come with the steaming basket. Amazon refunded 20% to me for their faulty description, no question asked! Amazon is always good at customer service, that's what keeps me coming back to shop with them. As far as the rice cooking part, this model does take longer time than regular basic older version rice cooker. However, the brown rice came out perfectly every time (I used regular white rice setting and it took about an hour from start to finish.) For white rice, I tried the quick cook setting, and again they turned out just right, and it took about 15 mins this time. All I have to say is you need to know the type of rice you are making. Usually cooking white rice takes lesser time than brown rice. And again, some brown rice takes longer time to cook than other brown rice. But anyway, this Panasonic rice cooker is good for its price. The only thing to make it a 5 stars for me would be if there is a holder for the rice spoon like some other model.

good
It is a little bigger than I imagined. But works better than I imagined! I cooked porridge with it and in an hour it came out exact the way I like. Great!!!!
