This Electric Skillets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Good Cooker
This is a beautiful pot with a polished stainless steel interior and exterior. This was very important to me as I needed a crockpot that did not use typical glazed ceramic for the same reason I avoid non-stick teflon cookware. After noting it's quality, I was surprised by how large the pot is. You could cook 2 whole chickens in this thing. Using it for the first time yesterday, I wanted to burn it in by using the hottest setting. It got very hot very quickly. This could be a plus, but also something to keep an eye on. I was braising a chicken and it was boiling the water within 10 minutes even though the chicken was frozen. The temperature dial has a range from 225 to 425 degrees. I am curious how this will work as a slow cooker and will post an edit later.
Now for the cons : the lid is not heavy enough. As soon as the water began to boil, it started to make the lid bob up and down and splatter everywhere. I did not have it overfilled with water. I put a heavy object on the...
2. GREAT BUY
I searched for hours on the net,looking for one thay was NOT a non stick coating AND had the metal lid,this had both of what I was looking for! works well,and easy clean up! a very good buy for the money

nice pot
This is a very nice pot. I used it as a hot pot and deep fryer. I think it can be used as a stir fryer too. Heating fast. One of the bottom pad did fall off. I had hard time to screw back on. I have to use my own screw. Over all it is a very nice product.
